DOLL REHAB - The WORST hair I've ever done - Rainbow High AMAYA Rehab & Restyle Thrifted Doll

I legitimately bought this doll just to see if I could fix it - the hair was SO BAD, ratty, knotted, just a disaster! I've never had the urge to own either this or the blue Amaya doll (maaaaybe Fantastic Fashion, but $23 is still too much for me on that one), but for a couple dollars from a thrift store she was a really fun makeover. I purchased the same doll at a thirty store and I had the same problem with the hair. Therefore, I decided to cut all the hair and i am going to reroot the hair with a total different hair colour! The hair was beyond repair! A new custom doll is born! 💕💕💕

Wow! What a difference!! My dolls that got makeovers and re-styles are my favorites! I've never found one at a thrift store, that would be so exciting. I buy too much so try to stay out of the thrifts, but have bought some doll lots online to play with. Wonderful video - well shot and easy to see. Thanks for the great content!!

Thank you so much for your kind comments. Thrift stores can definitely be dangerous but I swear the ones by me have nothing 99% of the time! I love used dolls though, I don’t feel guilty experimenting!

I have no patience to untangle my hair, I almost cut it short once, but I waited to go to a hairdresser at least XD dolls I have more patience thank god, but not much XD your patience in saving and restyling this doll is huuuge

When I have a really bad tangle I bring out the Kinky Curly brand conditioner - it’s super good for detangling (just spendy). Helps the brush slide through better!

@@DollDuchess I,m good. And yes I found big Amaya at Walmart. But I have not gotten her yet because I went crazy at eBay and bought. Winter Jade. Cheer Jade. Pinky James! Cheer Ruby. And cheer Poppy. All used. At crazy cheap prices. I could not help myself. I love rainbow high dolls so much! That I am in full doll stalking mode! But my goodness it's so fun. I’m glad you found her. That haul sounds awesome! I finally got my first jade recently, she’s so fun! I do love the hunt - I’ve been to 6 Walmarts this week to find the accessories boxes for $1 and found a surprise FF skylar for $11 too! 🤩 Veronica is so worth it, such a beautiful doll.
