I'm so glad and excited to find your channel. I'm a very old DC collector, I bought my first new DCs in 1974 -- and at that time, I'd had acquired some 1967 issues my parents had bought for my older brother in "comicpacks." My favorites from '67 were Brave & the Bold #72 and Action 350, 351. Anyway, I found out about collecting from the 1976 Overstreet Guide and I've been at it since then. Put a LOT of mileage on the old spinner-racks! Your DC knowledge is *outstanding.* Sorry about the very long comment, but I'm so happy that you're pursuing things like Anniversary issues and Neal Adams art -- I was after those books decades ago. How about Batman 200 and Detective 400 for less than $2 each? I know, those days are gone. I'll let you go by mentioning Nick Cardy was DC's "primary cover artist" from about 1972 to 1975, so watch for 20-cent cover price issues -- sometimes signed "NC." I got back into DC Comics when the New 52 first came out, but I didn't really get into it as much as I hoped. I ended getting rid of most of it. I bought some books when DC did Rebirth but chose not to get back into collecting at that time. Now, I'm very keen for the Absolute Universe. I do want to get some of the New 52 books once again. I want to find all the issue #1s and #0s. I wish I had hung onto my Batman and Detective Comics New 52 books, but I have reacquired some books. I've found the first 5 issues of Action Comics, as well as the entire runs of Frankenstein and Sword and Sorcery. Also found the first 5 issues of I, Vampire at the same time.
