I think this would make more sense on slower moving assets, but yes in general DCA does not guarantee anything. I think all it does is diminish portfolio volatility, so if you're DCAing in a bullrun you will give up on some gains and if you DCA while prices go down you will avoid a little bit of the losses. In general I don't think one should compare this to any type of trading strategy, as its results are very unpredictable. Hypothetically we could have gotten a situation perfect for DCA like in the Binance infographic, but you'll never know in advance

Yeah that's a problem but I cannot fully moderate them. I am trying my best to delete whenever I see one but they are basically popping up whenever I delete them and in the end I have better things to do with my time :D Hope you understand!

DCA investment suits for asset which worth long term holding. Beside BTC and ETH, there seems not much asset can convince investor to hold. By the way, another nice video again, hope we survive till bull market coming.

At the moment I'm testing a strategy where stop losses and profits are calculated based on the ATR .... but more and more often I began to notice that's not what I need. There are a lot of stop loss triggers, after which the movement continues in the direction I need and reaches profit... How can I get rid of this??

Hi, To be fair in the evaluation of DCA you should plot the curve of close prices! What you would observe is that DCA performances has not much to do with the assets per say, It is only linked to the type of market you're in, simple proof of this can be made by changing the date on the BTCUSDT prices. If you take a bull market, of course LS strategy will always outperform DCA because the price is rising ! Only buying low can gives you more BTC! However in a bear market, since you don't know when will the bottom be , DCA becomes the by default best option, since the price is falling, it can only outperform LS... First of all thanks a lot for your comment and sharing your thoughts. Maybe I missunderstood but plotting the close price is the same as plotting the Lump Sum development. But agree on the last part of your comment! You will also see that in my upcoming video. Spoiler: For nearly every plunging coin, DCA is the better option.
