Hi Mary the only old system store in my area has been closed since last Thursday due to lack of air conditioning. The other DG a little farther away is a new system and the employees aren't coupon or penny shopper friendly so I stopped shopping there. I don't even want to stress myself if my coupons don't come off so I will be on a break but I hate missing out on good deals.

Employees could not control the coupons that should come off or will not come off. It is up to you if the coupons are clipped I would not stop couponing. It is not their store. You are a customer in free as long as you are cordial to go in and shop. Please don't give up. Trying to save money unless there's another store like CVS or Family Dollar where you can save with digital coupons 😊🤗

When I attempted to shop at an updated store my $5/25 coupon didn't apply in app. I m not sure if the cashier has to scan the paper coupon first before typing in my number. I m not sure if the instant savings will stack with the $5/25. It's too much of a hassle but I will attempt if it's worth it. I will wait on someone to post from an updated store before I try. Thanks for sharing.

I tried this deal using my account and my husband’s account on two different days this week and both times it did not work out at my store. The $5 of $25 coupon subtracted but the $5 of $15 would not come off. The girl at register kept telling me it didn’t work because I needed to build up my total so the instant $5 savings could subtract but I explained to her I had built it up way over $30 both times because there were other things I needed for my household that I added to my purchase which built up my total even higher but even at that it would not work. Bummer!

I used to hurry and put in my number while they were ringing things up to get my deal to work out. Recently, a cashier told me it’s best to wait and do that.
