Marriage & Motherhood I was on a flight to Ireland and I spilled soda on my jeans. I’m so glad I had a pair of workout pants in my carryon tote as I had to check my main bag. I always have an extra set of clothes especially for a long flight.

I couldn't even fit just my own stuff in one suitcase. I don't rewear my clothes before washing because I always feel hot and sweaty. I usually go through 2'ish outfits per day depending on activities, plus pajamas. 😂 I bring a ton of extra undergarments and never regret it. Better to have than not have. I also bring my entire bathroom contents when I travel. I've tried to pack light and it never works out for me.

I'm the same. I hate rewearing clothing without washing them especially when I'm constantly outside in the summer. If I'm doing carry on only, I just go to a laundromat. It's not that time consuming and you actually meet people doing that, and can read or do whatever. I don't feel like my clothing gets that clean doing sink laundry so again, laundromat.

I'm in love with that dress! I would say a simple Pearl necklace with matching earrings , and some gold and silver Bangles. I use those cubes as well, but for me I fit more if I use the Konmarie folding technique. Question: how do you return home with the bathing suits if they are wet?

I agree - pearl necklace and pearl earings will look really nice. I always use zip lock bags to pack my wet clothes. I always pack several extra ziploc bags in case they are needed. They are so handy. For shoes I pack each shoe in a sock. Easier to pack and fit/fill in the small spaces plus it keeps the suitcase clean.

Have a safe and wonderful trip! I will absolutely be getting some of those glasses cases to keep my school bag organized year round. It's a small backpack that doubles as a day bag when I don't go to school. I have so many little bits and bobs, some of which I only need at school and don't want to carry around when I'm out in town. So several little pouches would make it so easy to swap out what I didn't need without losing things or becoming disorganized. Thank you!

I always pack extra ziplock bags for wet stuff and I also pack a couple of tall kitchen trash bags for the dirties or as a just in case (like the time one of my kids started vomiting on his clothes). When you get where you're going line that popup hamper with the tall kitchen trash bag. You can even use 2 popup hampers (each with their own trash bag liner), one for darks and one for light colors. When you pack to come home, lift it out and pop it in the suitcase. It will fit back in the suitcase all nice and tidy and ready for the washer.

YESSSS!!!!!! THANK YOU! THIS....THIS.... video is seriously the ABSOLUTE BEST video on packing tips & hacks I have EVER seen! I am going a little week long vacation with my kiddos and we are taking my grandmother and my uncle (who's more like my dad than my uncle and my kiddos favorite person) and we are going to NH to visit story land and Santa's village (one of our favorite places) and we are driving because it's only about a two hour drive from us in Mass but want space in the car so not alot of suitcases and since the kids are mine I am in charge their clothes and stuff and THIS is the best video ever knowing I can fit all our clothes in my large Tommy Hilfiger suitcase and then they can each have their little backpacks for their ipads and snacks and books and little stuff they "need". Thank you so much for this video and the checklist and I have bought cubes similar at tj maxx and they were cute but not practical and after one trip they were dunzo. I will definetely purchase the Amazon ones idk why I didn't get them off Amazon since I'm a prime member and probably get everything off Amazon lmao. Summer wedding, Pearls are always a good choice. However you could color match your dress and jewelry with a lighter version of your dress color or a turquoise, pale green, or creamy white metal color either gold or silver will work. Fresh and summery.
