My dad loved circus peanuts. Me, not so much. We had a Christmas party for our grandkids. Games, small prizes and lots of food. Dollar tree socks were one of the prizes. They took off the socks that they had on and put on the new socks right away.

My mother worked at Macy's in NYC wrapping gifts to earn Christmas money when she was a teenager. Needless to say, she wrapped all gifts as if they came from Macy's and taught my sister and I to do the same. Now our daughters carry on the tradition. Last year, each one just got a bow after being wrapped, this year...who knows! A gift from my Momma was always a work of art! Thank you for the haul dear friends!

Loved the walkthrough as always. I went to Dollar Tree today and I finally found the 35 pack of dishwasher tablets I was so excited. I got two. They had a bunch. I also loved the photos at end. I just love to light watch and check out decorations

Have you ever heard or seen cards being used instead of a bow on a package? My grandmother did that, I’m wondering if that was a result of the great depression. I save my Christmas cards and birthday cards and use them as package tags. I don’t use them if there is writing on the back. I think it makes the package more interesting. I love to carry it on in my grandmother‘s memory!

I've actually done that myself too..my mom did it and I got it from her..bet my grandmother like yours did too. I use pinking shears around the edges and tape card so it can't be lifted up.

Hi Shelby! I have never been a fan of the circus peanuts. I love to use ribbons and bows on birthday gifts but I leave them off of my Christmas presents because I like to be able to stack them under the tee. 🎄🎁 Beautiful festive photos, Jason!

I love those 3x5 metal boxes. Haven’t seen them yet here. Bows- I’m hit or miss. I don’t do many of them. For our secret Santa exchange, I used the wire snowfkakes…about three feet of it around the gift though inside the basket in the basket bag. I picked those cookies from Spain yesterday. Love love love Circus peanuts, hardly eat them. My daughter is going to Disney to perform with the HS band. I found two adorable narrow tall reusable bags as well as socks with Minnie. Found a new dog treat (name brand no $1.25 tag) for my bosses dog. Found the snowflake tumbler too…last one:)

That blue tumbler is pretty. I went overboard with the glass containers last year, and they are still in my cabinet unused. Lol. I'll probably give some to my one daughter in law that still lives nearby. My other three sons moved away from Upstate NY after they got married. Lol

If you need any gifts you could perhaps make fudge in them and then they'd have the container as part of the gift too if your DIL doesn't want them.

Hello, Shelby and Bill! I watched your video with my 2nd cup of coffee this morning- I'm doing laundry now but I hope to get out to the big Dollar Tree store that's farther away from me today after I'm finished. I always enjoy your hauls- I love to see what's new there. I did find 2 of the large makeup bags the other day! I hope to find a 3rd one for my 11 year old granddaughter- she is just starting to develop an interest in makeup. Every time I see Circus Peanuts, I think of my precious Mom. I think that she is the only one that I have ever known that absolutely LOVED Circus Peanuts. It didn’t matter if they were soft and fresh or a little bit older and kinda chewy. We had to keep them in her snack drawer when she and Dad were in assisted living. ❤ Did Dad like them? No. Do any of us four kids like them? Absolutely not. But Mom she loved them. ❤❤

When I was a child I would eat circus peanuts, but now im not a fan. I picked up some of the bubbles that say cheers for New Years, Im going to put them out for decorations. I need to get some of the champagne bottle poppers. I was at general dollar and they were putting out Valentine's day items. I did pick up a couple things because if not they would be gone.

@ they might not be in your neck of the woods but it’s reporting sightings of these drones on my local news station and have been seen in Myrtle Beach and Georgetown which is about 70 miles from the coast where I live inland! I'm in a small town in Arizona and we have 2 dollar trees but we do not have well stocked stores or stores with good items in it. They need to drain the swamp here and hire from management down and then reopen. 😡
