This video really really makes me miss my mom so much more. She ALWAYS loved the Xmas hunting unusual gifts. She made it so magical without spending very much at all. Now it’s no one really left. PAINT THE GRAY CHAIR!!!!!

Hi Sherry, the folding "plant stand" is a tea tray, common in very posh hotels here in England, so you're in good company for your English country cottage theme. Afternoon tea is served on them, usually sandwiches on the bottom, pastries such as sausage rolls on the middle tier then cakes on the top. It folds up for storage and the top bar is for carrying it. I wish you and your family a wonderful and happy Christmas and a healthy New Year xx

I would suggest "Grabber" Hand warmers as a gift for people who live in cold climates. You can stick them inside mittens, or between socks and boots if your feet get cold. Putting them in your pants pockets will warm your legs, but you might get a temporary "heat rash" type mark.

Barefut essential oils has a scent that is perfect for winter called Winter Wonderland. It smells just like a winter walk in the evergreen and pine trees with a crisp edge to it! Sherry, I wouldn't probably buy it for Christmas, but my husband and I love jigsaw puzzles. We even buy them from the bins. Thanks for all your ideas. Merry Christmas.

I love that you shared stocking stuffers! My mom always filled ours with items we always needed but maybe got things a little more fancy than we’d normally get…toothbrushes, toothpaste, fancy shampoo, deodorant, pens and pencils (glittery or with neat erasers), perfume/cologne plus a “book” of lifesavers. I filled my husband’s stocking the first year the same way (and now fill all 4 kid stockings the same way). He was so confused. He always got the old people ribbon candy and nuts from the dollar store and did not understand why he got toothpaste when he was expecting ribbon candy… and he doesn’t really *like* ribbon candy, but that was what you are supposed to get in your stocking😂
@CanterburyCottage19 минут бұрын
Isn’t it funny how families have their own traditions? When my boys were little they always got toothbrushes in their stockings-cute ones with cartoon characters! I agree that stockings should be filled with useful items.

I love ideas. lol, I like buying different things too. My oldest grandson is in the Navy but still in training not on ship. I bought him a set to storage bowls with lids and my soon to be grandson in love. They live alone and cook food so why not.😂. I throw in odd things as filler presents too. You choose some really smart items. I gave the cleaning slime last year.😊❤
