It's really about having the service essentials which are white dining ware (plates, bowls, cakestands, etc) and your standard clear glassware. It's all about showcasing the food and displaying it in creative ways. The strawberry shortcake shooters were a great idea and the parfaits in the Margherita glasses also a nice touch. 👌 Very well done. I will be pinching a few serving ideas from this challenge. 😊

I thought you did very well, and I've done the same for friends - they didn't even know most of the stuff came from the Dollar Tree. We had Belgian waffles, parfaits, turkey bacon, and mimosas too - but also fried chicken, fish, grits, fruit salads, bagels with avocado spread & cream cheese, and French toast... Those strawberry shortcake shooters was a nice idea I'll have to try next. When you have such a large variety, then you need smaller servings in those sizes, so everyone can sample everything and w/o getting too full. Bravo, I'm die they enjoyed! 👏🏾

Beautiful but by the time you put eggs and waffles on a serving plate and then on your own plate, they’re cold. We keep plates in the oven on warm while we cook and then serve them on warm plates to keep it hot while we eat. Those are just two things that get cold extremely fast.
