Yes. I work at DT in Oklahoma and now we are having our trucks come in from California. We missed one truck I believe. They are just having to move around where the Oklahoma stores get their trucks from.

The little sink set made me laugh. My mom's solution was a step stool, so I could wash real dishes. The only downside was I dropped a dish and said the same thing she said (dam it). Her head whipped around like the exorcist and asked what did you say? Naturally, my reply was dang it. My dad was rolling. Thanks for the laugh

I used to work in the Walmart bakery and they will decorate your cake with the figurines you bring in. Bring in your concept! But I will tell you that we didn’t get paid extra for decorating cakes or anything. It is very high pressure and takes alot of skill so 20$ for a birthday cake is a friggin steal!

To temporarily glue the bowl and plate together you can use a product like Quake Hold or museum putty. RV’ers use it to keep things from sliding around during travel time, but you can take it apart.

My son’s favorite movie growing up was Toy Story.. He’s now 26 and has a nice career. I’ve got the main characters from the movie and I’m going to first spray paint them a gold and then use some rub ‘n buff to make them look like solid metal collectibles!

You can also get those little figures, get the dollar tree picture hanging kit, use the little eye hook screws, screw them into the top of the figures and make them Christmas tree ornaments.

Another version of your lovely cake plate is to glue a candlestick underneath in the center to use for a pedestal style cake plate, sandwich tray, cookies etc, etc. I had a clear glass candlestick and I painted it blue to match the flowers on my plate. It came out really nice Vivian, I enjoy your videos so much and love your personality! You make me laugh and I thank you for that😊

Growing up in the 90’s, my mom had our kitchen decorate with strawberry themed everything. Wall/ceiling trim, cookie jars, curtains, floor mats, pot holders, plates, everything. When we moved and she and my dad designed a basic ol modern kitchen, I really missed the kitsch. I still do, I told her I wish she would have saved all that stuff to pass down to me 😂

Our distribution center here in Oklahoma was destroyed by a tornado. Our shipments will now be coming from California. They are adding 800 stores to their existing 800. On a positive note, since the Dollar Tree by my house hasn’t had a new shipment in awhile, it was neat and organized and there are usually unpacked boxes in every aisle 🙄

There's a good chance she's right if you live within a couple of states of Oklahoma. A very large Dollar Tree warehouse got destroyed by a tornado in Oklahoma on April 27. It was a one million sq. ft. distribution center

I've seen ppl take the Disney figurines & the snow globe ornaments from dt & make christmas ornaments. You could with any show or theme & make a mini tree too. Bluey, comic, Disney, rugrats, sesame Street, etc. I've seen them all at Dollar tree.

Hi, Vivian! I saw you mentioned DT's compostable utensils and plates in the last video. You could let your viewers know that they will only break down if put into a compost bin! If they go in your regular garbage that ends up in the landfill, they won't decompose. This applies to anything marketed as compostable. If folks don't have their own compost or know anyone with compost, they can look up if there are any nearby compost sites. Unfortunately, it just makes products seem more eco-friendly because companies know they aren't being composted.

I bought the"candle holder" cup thinking that it was actually a drinking cup. I tested my "Coke can" glass lid And it fits perfectly it actually fits better than the Coke can glass I currently have. I didn't realize that it was a candle holder until I got it home and flipped it over to take off the sticker and it had the candle warning on the bottom.. I'm going to use it as a drinking glass and if you have the lids that fit the can glasses it will fit!!!! That glass was actually in the glass section when I was going down the aisle which is why I thought it was a drinking glass.

Don’t buy pepper spray unless you absolutely need a small container for your purse or bag. Wasp spray works just as well and you can keep more space between your assailant and you. Bear spray would be a good choice too!

I've been buying Hanes shaper capris for 30 years for $5. I remember one time I must've been 20 and the store had them on sale buy one get two free and you could use coupons back then too and I had a coupon for buy one get one free. I paid for one pair and got 4 free. Because I had 2 coupons. Back then they came in a few colors. So I got all the colors. I found more of the coupons and went to another location for the same store and got the deal again. I opened one up like a week later inside was a coupon to review the cost of item back just had to send the barcodes in with a self addressed stamped envelope. You bet I did clipped every barcode and sent them in with the price I paid each lol they were $4.99 plus tax back $5.29. I got a check in the mail a month later for $115 lol... That made me love Hanes even more lol

now I would use that little wristlet on a cruise for the more dressy stuff. Going out to the disco, or for drinks etc. Like a little evening handbag. That little kitchen sink toy I would get to put in my donations box, I collect small stuff, color books, crayons, stuffed animals, toy cars etc to donate at Xmas time. One or two items a month doesn't hurt the pocketbook too much.
