I love this! I've been looking for a display tray for a while, they're either too expensive, too small, or not my style. Thank you for the idea. And I have the same contact paper lol. ❤

I would have placed the contact paper between the 2 pieces of glass, otherwise, it is perfect!

Very cute and creative! I can't use E6000 glue because it gives me a headache but maybe just hot glue? I love it great job ❤ 👍
@BiancaAnnD6 жыл бұрын
Of course! You can definitely choose to only use hot glue. It might not be as sturdy, but it works! 🤗
@gerrypetocz62125 жыл бұрын
I would definitely use some kind of heavy duty glue. Hot glue I don't feel would be safe as it might fall apart.
@evaorum3244 жыл бұрын
You could try Aleene’s tacky glue cause I also get a headache from E 6000That’s what I use. Just let it dry a little

This turned out very nice and I love that paper... my fear would be accidentally breaking that glass. Pets knocking it over or even a child. Maybe try the foam board for extra security? I want to try this. Merry Christmas to you 🎄💕

Pretty !!!! Does the hot glue and E6000 show up through the 2 glasses that you glued together?
@Billssock2 жыл бұрын
Where do you buy the E6000 glue and why not just use hot glue only? I'm a craftier newbie so I have a bunch of questions! Thank you!! Jillian ( on my hubby Julian's youtube account)

I didn't see or hear at what point you added the glass. Was it placed inside the middle frame? It was very unclear to me. Thanks for your response.
tip on the E-6000 put Vaseline on the top after you open it and it will always open for you

Thank you, very smart! I’ll try that. 🤗

@BiancaAnnD6 жыл бұрын
Hey, Carmen. So sorry I’m just now responding, I was on vacation with my family. ☺️ To answer your question, I’m not too sure....but, if you use the E6000, it will definitely hold a good amount of weight! Don’t forget to use the layers of glass too. 👍🏼 thank you for watching! ❤️

Hi adding some feet to the bottom elevates the tray & looks better. Great job though.
@BiancaAnnD6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the tip, Shae! Thanks for watching!
@j.a.thompson87596 жыл бұрын
BiancaAnn D if you want to add feet to your tray (or other items) just use four clear glass gems glued on the bottom. Four gems out of a DT bag of gems is just pennies and it adds a more finished look. Unfinished wood beads or knobs (which are bigger) will also work and can be painted to match the tray. Good luck with your channel.

Its always nice to give credit to the person who inspired your idea. There's a video by Jay Munee DIY that was posted before this one and the idea and instructions are almost identical. It would be nice to credit her for her idea.
