This turned out lovely. You could also use stick pins. If you overlapped the ribbon slightly you could use one per strip.

Love it. Tip: I've seen another youtuber paint the tree metallic silver, before putting the bling on. It helps everything blend and don't have to worry about empty space.

Nice im gonna do 1 like that and 1 in pink .if you crumble aluminium foil and wrap it and glue 1st on your cone that will keep any gaps from showing but again beautiful work

I agree that using hot glue is the fastest and the easiest. The glue dries quickly which is a plus when making something like this that is so intricate.

I love this! I have several different colors of bling wrap, so I think I'll do an arrangement of three different colors...silver, gold, and the light blue. They'll be so sparkly! Thanks for giving me the inspiration to get started! 💟🎄

This is so pretty. The styrofoam cones were all sold out at Dollar Tree and Dollarrama (similar $ store) and way to expensive at Michael's. I finally found one at Walmart. I was planning to make the wire Christmas tree, using the cone as a shape maker so I can use it again for this project. Thanks for the great idea. Cheers Susan 🐾

this is cute, what would've made the tree stand out if you had some Stirling silver paint to cover up the white from the foam. other then that I will be making this , two to be exact.

This is definately the most beautiful tree I've seen on these sites and I've seen plenty. You not only are very patient but also so original. Trish, I am confused as to the process you followed to make my very favorite tree of all. Did you make the 'twist' on every layer? It's hard to follow everything that you did as the rhinestones begin to look alike, I would LOVE to learn to make this. Again, thanks so very much. Love this. I may give it a try! I get my bling mesh on ebay. Last 2 times I bought it it was $1.14 & $1.20 for 1 yd by 24 rows with free shipping. It does take a long time to get it though. It's called Diamond Mesh if anyone is interested.
