I've been eyeing those dang snowmen because I wanted them at the top of my steps hear my front door and two trees at the bottom of my steps where my walkway and steps meet and they are freaking expensive!!! These are time consuming but I'd I cam save that much of my money then i am all about it! It will be fun to do with my 8 yr old daughter we made the string balls before during Easter time two years ago it was freaking messy but fun to do with her! Great idea for a DIY snowman! You were right in that you have to have patience for this project. I DIY'ed a chandelier using this process. It was a bit messy because I put the entire ball of yarn inside my bowl of glue so that I could wrap the ball continually and not piece by piece. The end result is absolutely beautiful and not bad for the price compared to online prices. Thanks for sharing your idea!
