A year ago, my dad passed away and my mom and I would always watch your videos when we were together. She loved the dollar tree (and you, she always said your voice was super therapeutic), we even did several of your DIYs together! Two months ago, my mom passed away and went to be with my dad. Your videos bring me the happiest reminders of her, and to continuing crafting in her honor. Thank you so much for everything you do, you have no idea how much you touched my mom and I’s lives!

Hurray!!! I've always been jealous of your Dollar Trees. WELL, GUESS WHAT?!? Because of crafters like you, my Dollar Tree put up this big sign .... CRAFT SUPPLIES. The miniscule craft area that we used to have, there is now a whole section dedicated to crafting. I am so grateful for crafters like you. I thought I would share a great trip that was given to me from another fellow crafter. Stenciling with the Dollar tree letter stencils -- cut your letters a part leave enough of the plastic for a small piece of painters tape to be attached.... Example if you want to stencil Hello you would lay your letters out like this (-) mark is your tape.... H-e-l these three letters will be taped together you would stencil them let dry naturally or use your hair dryer. Don't use your heat gun here because it melts your stencils. Then pick those stencils up repeat with your last two letters. I found this is such a great way to stencil. Another tip is I bought three sets of the stencil letters of each design that my DT carried. That way I could spell and tape the whole word out. I hope I explained this well enough for you.

I love ALL of them, but especially the vases! If you purchased those already made in a shop, I'll bet they would be $30-$50 a piece! They look very high end. The eggs and ham was so cute, but the pretzel looked more like a waffle to me, which is just as adorable! Gods Blessings, my friend!

Oh my gosh! The wooden elephant with inlaid ivory that is behind you- I have a whole set of those! My mom got them when I was a kid and we lived over-seas in Saudi Arabia. Love your scoops. For concrete look I use Rust-oleum American Accents in stone. I got grey. I bought the Easter bunny that comes with 3 paints & a paint brush. After spraying & drying I make little vignettes for Easter with them.

I’m all about different textures on vases or anything loved your vases. I just did a vase with crushed pintos that now looks like rushed river rocks to me. Also did one with sawdust mixed in with my paint guess I now need to do the baking soda! Thanks for sharing
