As someone who drives my mare I can appreciate this. I'm totally adding this to my spare room!! Perhaps it will inspire me to do more 'date drives,' as me & my husband call our horsey dates when we hitch my girl up to do a 15 mile loop. I love this. Out of all the wagon wheels that I have seen made, this one is by far the easiest to replicate and the outcome is very realistic. Heads up ladies, you can purchase the 32 inch skewers at Walmart for 88 cents. I bought abt 5 packages there after going back to DT 2 days after buying only 2 packages and learning that (of course, I knew better than to wait at DT 😂)they had sold out. I went to Walmart to purchase chicken wire , paint, and craft supplies and then just by chance, I cut down through an aisle and looked up, spotting the 32 inch skewers hanging there. I went ahead and grabbed all 5 packages 😉

Suggestion that may have helped on spacing. After you place them and get them where you want, draw a line on cardboard near each spoke. Then when you put them back to glue, they will be even.
