With the candle the open end is the bottom. Feed the wick through the mold. That way it will be flat at the bottom and round on top. Also save extra wax to the side to add more as it gets hard to avoid the dipping.

You can also do the dipping with the container of water and use oil based paint. It comes in tubes.

11:04 so for the candles I think putting them in the long cylinders defeats the whole purpose of a round candle, what I would do is put the candles on a decorative plate and melting the bottom for it to stick to the plate, and maybe some food colouring would be nice for spring!

I like the first planter with glue stick design, the round candle/stone project, and the small framed artwork!!! The planter with legs may be difficult if one doesnt have the heavy duty tools that you do. Keep going with your creativity. I love your projects. ❤

To keep your wick straight use a pencil and tie it to the middle and lay it across the top of your candle while it is hardening.

So those round molds; You're supposed to put the wick in upside down and use a sewing needle to thread it through the bottom. That way you have a flat base to sit the candle on. Try it that way next time!! 😊

Justan idea--when you take your ball shaped candles out of the molds, turn them upside down--you will have a ball shape on top and a flat place on the bottom for sitting evenly. You will have to figure out how to insert wicks, but I know you can find a way to do that!
