We, my son and I have to stay clear of scented things...allergies, eyes run, nose runs, cough and wheeze something awful. I miss hanging clothes out side to dry...that natural fresh outdoor scent is just the best. I know what you mean about getting older...I turned 65 in March and been really feeling my age...darn aching joints and not just in one place but all over...sigh! Yup...my Real Deals store made the jump too...25 cents more. But still cheap. Really can't live with out them. I know what you mean needing to pray...I find myself praying lots more...we need kindness really bad...to just get along with each other. People are scary...find myself stay home more where it feels some measure of safe. Sigh!

I've always wanted to get a storage unit and do pallets but we have no space to store anything at all 🤣 the sand is definitely the way to go much better! My jeep needs a major spring cleaning winter was rough! I need to get to dollar tree been well over a month!

Hey Melissa. We buy storage units from Storage Treasures too and I just wanted to warn you DO NOT BUY THE "MANAGER SPECIAL" UNITS..it's basically all of the stuff left behind from other units = Junk! We made that mistake a couple of times when we first started..don't do it! 🙃 Buying units is a lot of fun though..perfect for the flea market later. Wear gloves, bring black trash bags, broom and dustpan. Good luck!!!

Storage units is a good way to go Mel, Plus Poshmark...excellent idea :D Some useful stuff from Dollar tree. No to the hat tho :D Downey is like the UK's Comfort, I also use the beads & they are lovely to add a nice smell to your clothes & bedding & towels. Cardinals likes to perch on my mirrors and crap all over my rear view mirrors on my car….everyday lately! I live in GA and my yard is full of the male Cardinals…they are pretty but they drive me nuts! I also have one that sees himself in my kitchen window and dives in the peck it constantly every day….🤦🏻‍♀️

The jump from $1.25 to $1.50 here in Canada just this Sunday, does make a big jump though. my 33.00 haul was over 40. I love watching all your hauls and finds, makes me want to grab some of your deals but then not so much of a deal trying to get anything to Canada.

The sand looks nice and its a great idea. I'd just be careful to wipe the end on a towel before you use a eye shadow brush. Your dont want sand falling in your eyes.

Lesson learned with the rocks! .... and the sand does look better! however, let us know how you felt after awhile, with sand on the handles of the brushes, and having to dust them off at all. Wondering if afterwhile it was more noticeable, than at first when its a new idea!

Nice haul! I went to the dollar store today too. You're right about the beachy stuff--lots of really cute new products and they were going like hotcakes down here in SWFL. I will say on the record you can't beat $1.25 for a pretty salad bowl that I needed for a party. Did you see Mothers Day keepsake boxes in your store? They were SO PRETTY.

The pink Dollar tree scent booster works so well, also their little bottles of Suavitel fabric softener is so strong, it goes a long way and lasts a long time

I went to dollar tree to add some stuff for Easter baskets and let’s just say somehow I walked out and my total was $40 😬 the $1.25 is dumb but I understand.Also my boyfriend and I love our garden gloves from there I have the purple ones too 💜

We use those beads in the vacuum cleaners at work for the rooms, and we stick them in a bottle mixed with water for fragrance in the rooms too, but yes we do have a specific one at work for the rooms, but we all have our preferences.. A posh mart you say hmmmm… Might just check that out, unless you won’t be shipping to Canada..🤗

Saturday is the day I normally make my Dollar Tree Haul shopping trips but I’m sick and couldn’t go. Now I’m living vicariously through you. Thanks for sharing the new finds this week. I love the sand in the makeup brush holders. I live not far from the beach so i might have to go and grab a bucket full. I live in Australia so no dollar tree 🙁. Even if we paid $2 per item here it would still be way cheaper. We pay 3 to 4 time more for everything over here particularly beauty products.

Hi,Melissa, I love the makeup brush caddies. Have you thought of using small craft beads instead of sand. That way you can even use purple or any colour that you would like The plus is that beads won't stick as much as sand will. Love watching your show . From Perth WA

I’m sure everyone already knows this, because it’s the same with Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, etc. But sometimes I’m amazed at how different the items are at Dollar Tree aka Dollar $.25, from store to store. I’m also an independent contractor, a hairstylist and estithician. I did mainly hair, but added an additional 4 weeks of training for makeup for days, photos and wedding makeup. I know how hard you have to work and how many things you are responsible to pay for. That lip color and gloss looks really good on you! 👍

Oh I do hope you get a storage unit at some point I loved storage wars too. I follow a few Foyt channels that get them, locker nuts is one and they got phenomenal lockers for $1. I’m not exaggerating when I say they have bought lockers that have brought in 6 figures in profit. Treasure Hunting with Jebus is another .., they were saying it’s been very difficult to get units lately and several auctions cancel on them. So keep trying you’ll get one, just have price in mind and don’t go above it lol your little chicks were super adorable 💜
