You need to "huff" on your stamps before you press them to the tag. The moisture from your breath helps with any parts that may have dried, preventing the need to double stamp. 😊

Omg I used to make and sell those wooden reindeer also. It was about 28 years ago. I got free scrap wood from my friend's hubby and I would scroll saw the pieces for hours. Aww, great memories for you though ❤

I personally love wrapping my Christmas presents with homemade bows and tags. I spend a great deal of time wrapping each gift to match the person's personality. Like, my grandson loves trucks. So finding paper and making tags in truck motifs is what I do. Every year he gets a new ornament gift tag of a truck. I always date them too. It's so relaxing and fun for me!!! ❤😊❤😊❤😊❤ "I know he enjoys putting those yearly ornaments on his family tree." "Last year he put them side by side. So one part of the tree is a Truck-O- Rama, lol!" 😂😂😂

Hey Shannon. I love all these ideas, but the recipe card holder is too cute! When you use markers to color on rubber stamps, you can hold the stamp up to your mouth and "huff" on it with hot air to give it some moisture. Sounds weird, but it works.

Hi Shannon. I get so excited at your Christmas crafts whatever you do is always awesome. I’m going to make quite a few of the decorations etc you have made, if I can find any similar products. I always have difficulty in Australia finding Christmas products like you all have over there. Occasionally I get lucky though. I love all your projects and can’t pick a favourite. I adore the reindeer, thru are so cute and I also love the little snowmen beads, I’m hoping Amazon in Australia may have quite a few of the things you got seeing how I can’t shop on Amazon in USA. I have found a few items that I’ve been searching for and can’t purchase anywhere so maybe I’ll get lucky. I love making ornaments and gifts at Christmas time. I like to start early in case something goes wrong and I’ve got plenty of time then. I’m slightly slow at doing things cos I can’t sit in one spot for too long due to my chronic pain. I absolutely love the nativity! Do you know the ornaments that look like cookies(I think snowflakes or stars?) I used puff paint on the wood snowflake, after I painted them a cookie color, to replicate them and stuck them on my kitchen cabinets for my Christmas cookie themed kitchen!

It is amazing how creative one can be with basically nothing: colored paper donations turned into crafts for kids to make. I'd buy simple things for 25 cents and turn them into creative gifts for my staff. One Christmas, I drew a tree on a card that said, "You are treemendous!" I took paper cups and dug up a Japanese maple tree 🌱 seedling as a gift. Squirrels had buried the seeds everywhere in my yard and they had to be uprooted anyway. (I had one of the prettiest trees in the county.) At least one worker asked if I had any more to give her. I don't know if others appreciated what I gave: a 3-foot tree had cost me $500 30 years ago.
