I’ve been so impressed with Dollar Tree’s freezer section lately. The chicken or pork potstickers are excellent and I even use them in soup!

Our dollar tree sucks but our family dollar is usually stocked and the dollar tree items are mixed in especially in the freezer section. Our DT freezers are either broke or not stocked but almost all the items she showed are in the Family Dollar freezer section for the same price.

Stuffed Caramel Marshmallows for coffee I cut them into quarters 4. Complete seasoning in lieu of Mrs Dash 5. Cleaning supplies 6. Shampoos, conditioners, hair spray 7. Basic make up pencils, blush, eyeshadow 8. Cat litter boxes, litter box crystals 9. Air fresheners 10. Dish cloths and towels 11. Pens and notebooks 12. Bagels 13. Coffee cups, dishes, plastic dishes, kitchen utensils, storage bags YUP, I'm a DT fan ! Just found out how delicious and inexpensive the egg rolls ate so add them to my list.

I agree completely. I've been eating that chicken a la king since I was a child (I'm now 61) and was thrilled when DT started carrying it. My local Albertson's had our for $2.79 a can. Hubby eats 4 boxes of the cookies a month and I buy 4 bags of the peppers and onions a month because they are so darn cheap.

Agreed w/the pot sticker statement below. On cold days when cooking seems like a heavy lift after a long day, I make a steaming hot bowl of wonton soup with those amazing potstickers. I use a couple cans of their chicken broth, add a little extra water to cut the salt, and slowly simmer however many potstickers you want until they cooked through. If you want to be fancy😉, you can add an egg that's been quickly whipped up to the soup. I also buy a bag of the $5 shrimp and some frozen veggies. A cheap & delicious soup that can feed at least 2 to 3 people, a couple if times. Btw, l love your channel, regular follower here. Thanks for doing the legwork!😊

One of my cheap/easy favorites is pantry tacos. Throw a can (15 oz unless otherwise specified) of drained and rinsed black beans, a can of corn, a 10-oz can of Rotel, and a packet of taco seasoning in a pot and let simmer on medium heat for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Warm your tortillas, add the taco mixture, roll it up, and enjoy. Add white or brown rice to it if you need to bulk it up to make the servings stretch. Leftovers are great as quesadilla filling or as toppings for nachos!

Listen, that boxed milk is THE BEST tasting boxed milk. The whole milk is indistinguishable from fresh milk. We are big milk drinkers and we all love it. So nice to have at least 4 boxes in the pantry for back up!

Might be a dumb question, but how does it stay fresh without it being refrigerated I’ve never heard or seen box milk I’ll have to look at our DT and see if the stuff is there. I agree those and the pork are my all time fav. I go there just for the egg rolls even if I’m already at a groc store or doing a delivery order because the price, size and taste are sooo worth it!! It’s my last stop on way home bc I just run in for those and I save money!

I say, keep this on the "down low". Once u make it public that a cheap product is great, the manufacturers decide to increase the price! I've seen it happen. Remember when dumpster diving used to be easy. Once it was made aware to the masses, stores began to lock them.

I concur! Those are my fav. I can only eat the pork or chicken egg rolls due to having a fish allergy... But God they are HEAVEN. That sauce packet they come with is delicious too! Those faux thin mints are ON POINT.

...I am older, so Chix a ka King was basically a " Staple type Dish " during those times... it was served over toast points ( triangles) or Rice, or even Egg Noodles. My Grandmother taught me to make it, and how convenient to have it in a canned version.

I used to work there. Their coffee lattes used to come in bottles and they were so good I would buy a whole case when they came off the truck. But now they changed to the cans which aren't as good. I also got dibs on a lot of the cool one time items we'd get like name brand cereals or baking goods.
