I like that you included the daily struggle of tooth brushing. It's a great example of an important part of the day and night, especially for the younger generations.

If you have an Instant Pot, a microwave, two burner electric stove top, and a toaster oven you can make nearly anything. I live in a tiny home, and this is my kitchen setup My friend growing up lived in a hotel with his drug addicted parents, my God. I wish they had loved him and themselves more than dope. At least they had food stamps and cooked well enough in the room they had

One of the best ideas i ever had was when we took our family on a month long tour of the USA. I bought a smaller crock pot to bring with us. In the morning before we left the hotel to go explore, i put somethjng in the crock pot to cook all day. When we came back to our room, dinner was ready and waiting for us. Like magic! Then, we bought a power inverter so we could use the crockpot in the car, and then we could still eat delicious meals when we were driving all day!

I try to zest all my citrus before juicing them and store the zest in the freezer. It has so many uses, it always brings brightness to a meal, I add it to pancakes, oatmeal, stews etc. It is especially helpful when I can tell that my meal could potentially benefit from the citrus flavor but I have run out of all my lemons. Also, from my experience as a person that also forgets to zest the lemons before cutting, it is much easier to do so after you have squeezed the juice. I only do that when I'm in a pinch though because I'm afraid to cut my fingers. Also now I am desperately craving lemon bars. I loved the idea of putting weight on tom of the panini, that was genius and I can't wait to try it out! Great meal prep, I'm sure they enjoy it a lot!

If you have a little more space the smallest 3qt instant pot can sautee foods, used as a slow cooker, rice maker, make baked potatoes, hard boiled eggs and used as a pressure cooker. You can even bake in it! Can even work on a smaller power station when camping. Grr-eat bang for your buck with removable stainless steel insert for easy cleanup and you’re not cooking in plastic.

To help get the collagen from the bones - and make a richer broth - add 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) of an acid like apple cider vinegar or lemon juice. 9:53

Just spent a week in Montana this summer, and never ate one meal out. I was able to do it with a hot pot and steamer, collapsible kettle, a cutting board, and paring knife. The hotel had a mini-fridge. I will continue to do this, and spend my hard earned money on souvenirs and experiences!

So you aren't doing the senior meals anymore. Are you going back to your cooking vlog or your senior cooking vlog after your move? Oh and what made you decide to move? At the beginning of the spring/summer it sounded like you had plans for staying there. Just wondering. 😁

I cook for my grandparents/little sister in one household. and my husband. My grandparents have a fish free household. Howevermy husbandand my little sister love fish. My grandma likes veggies (no pork), and my grandpa likes heavy processed food. Are there any tips on quick meal prep that aren't casseroles and soups

Corn syrup in the cheap peanut butter and jelly plus more sugar ..hardly any real food in them...😢😢. Crazy Richard is 100% peanuts ...and often can be found very inexpensively...... It is more co payments if you eat junk food...😢😢😢. The dollar store used to have bags of frozen 100% fruit....no sugar added...can use that instead of cheap jelly... That bread is unhealthy. Better to just get self rising flour and make one bread.... But great job on everything else!!!

I've been so inspired by your ideas, and I thank you. There's just no way you're a failure, not if you're eating 3 meals a day. It may be a bit repetitive but there are plenty of people out here who would not mind that at all-- because they wouldn't be hungry. Kudos, dear girl.

I get my yeast by the pound because it's about 10 percent of the cost of the packets. If you mix yeast and flour together in a batch about 4 or five cups, you can pull out a half cup of flour mix and make a couple of rolls a day. It's so much easier than a couple loaves at a time, keeps fresher, and it will last for a while in a sealed container. When you make it add whatever sugar, salt, or fat and fluid you want in there then.

Consider looking into a sous vide! So much easier to prepare, less energy usage, SOOOO tender the meat is incredible. I can process 10 lbs of pork loin (1 lb per vacuum sealed bag) at once in my large sous vide bath bin. I only put in salt and you can sear the meat later as needed. This freezes very well and defrosts and tastes so fresh! Steaks you can cut with a fork and are still so juicy and tasty.

Not sure what percent, but some of us like the steak fries soft. It is still a great idea either with leftover chili or canned and any cheese sauce or queso you have available. Can't wait to try this during fall and football season!

You could always reserve some of the starchy water you boiled your potatoes in to stretch the mashed potatoes or add that water to the gravy as the extra starch would help thicken it. Love your recipe and channel!
