I’m a green bean casserole girlie, so that’s how I would go. This looks really wonderful!

If I send something to the address listed will you still be there to get it? Or will it get forwarded to where you’re moving to? 😊

“Buy whatever cookie speaks to you personally”. At Christmas, every cookie speaks to me personally. 😂. The rest of the year I’m not really a cookie kind of gal. Merry Christmas to you and best wishes in your new home.

I have truly enjoyed all of the recipes of yours I made. I just want to remind anyone who missed it that greek yogurt in deviled eggs is just not it and if you have the budget, please use mayo. Merry Christmas Rebecca, Michael, River, and Loki, and here’s to good times and wonderful memories in your new home!

The pie looks great! For the punch, you don't need cheese cloth, I use a coffee filter tied with dental floss

Ive become sort of a fan of dollar tree except I honestly find so many food items cheaper at Aldi. I use dollar tree each year for stocking stuffers and work gifts. Dollar tree had some amazing holiday candles this year. My boys are older so I got some food items for their stocking. A velveeta cheese sauce packet for my one who loves it. Pringles small can. Slim Jim’s. Cheese crackers. A bottle of sparkling apple cider. Etc. Just had to think outside the box. They don’t need or care for all the candy.

Gorgeous new kitchen and so camera friendly. Thanks for differentiating au gratin from scalloped. So many use the terms interchangeably. Everything looks delicious. I like the raspberry swirling.

For those that want help veg wise, my mom made these green beans with bacon and Parmesan so you could brown your ham and a can of green beans together then top them with parm like we did or mix it all together with the potatoes and top with parm for more cheesiness. Just a suggestion for those struggling. Thank you Rebecca for all you do tho and you truly are an angel. I’m pregnant with my first right now and affording anything has been killing my fiance and I so your recipes have kept us fed and happy when we’re in a pinch. Thank you so much sweetheart 💜

In the uk, supermarkets put out vegetables for as little as 8 pence! That’s only at Christmas time but you can still buy most vegetables here for less than £1

I don't understand the concept. :) Surely getting fresh potatoes and veg would be cheaper and healthier. You could still do it all on the stove top. Is ham traditional for Christmas in the USA? In the UK we generally have turkey so I would probably use deli turkey slices if doing this sort of thing. but I think my children would wonder where the real food was. I would go for carrot and cucumber sticks with the cream cheese for a starter then boil some of the carrots to go with the main dinner. You can get a 1kg bag of carrots for 69p, 1kg of potatoes for about £1 and a white or cheese sauce mix for £3. 2 packs of turkey slices for £3. I would use trifle sponges and custard with bananas to make a trifle for about £5. All in about £16gbp which is $20usd but without the packet chemicals. Any change, I would use for some brussels sprouts or broccoli. You would definitely have leftovers to make bubble and squeak on boxing day.

It’s funny, I was actually looking at those exact potatoes and trying to compare them to the scalloped potatoes- there’s basically no difference, because the scalloped potatoes have the cheese mixture in it too. Only difference I noticed was one had cornstarch 😂😂
