Thank you for this review, Trish!!! These are excellent DT items to include in shoeboxes!! Your list is also so many of my favorites. I find the best Hotwheels at DT too and I love including picture books as well even if the child can't read English. I just found the cute dinos at my DT and grabbed them for the toddler boxes. They look chunkier and softer for little hands.

Even though I live in the uk, I love to watch these videos and marvel at all the amazing things you get in your budget stores! I would say I’m jealous I can’t get hold of them myself but truly I’m just happy they are going to all the children we want to help 😃 our “poundlands” need to step up their game and take a leaf from dollar tree!

Your favorites are my favorites too! The puzzles, coloring books, and stickers are always staples for OCC shoeboxes. Love the off brand lego sets and and tea sets. I always buy those. I also love the paracord, I hate the new packaging though, I like the way it was before without the huge plastic holder. Shirts are a great deal. I rarely get socks at my DT, they never have what you get. Thanks for sharing, Trish!

I wholeheartedly agree about the new packaging on the Paracord. I’m sure the plastic spool comes in handy for some people, I guess, but I hate it. I really don’t think it’s necessary. It’s not environmentally friendly and i’m sure more costly.

Totally forgot about them because I’m still using up the hundreds of pencil sharpeners I got a couple years ago online at Walmart 🥰

Enjoyed the video! My very favorite items from the Dollar Tree are their color books, TY stuffed animals, Two pack playing cards and Barbie brand clothes. I do still search for Prang color pencils but have not seen them for months! You gave me a few ideas, that I’m definitely going to check out. I’m particularly interested in the 4 pack booklet with the blank pages and the Lego sets.

Oh yes, I love it when I see the little TY stuffies, Barbie clothes and Prang colored pencils at DT. My faves, too. The only reason they didn’t make this list is because I was trying to include only those easy to find items that DT stocks on a regular basis and goes to all stores. But, definitely, yes, those are faves!!

I love the pull back Mega Blocks cars. I’m so glad I decided to put one together, as I was really impressed with it. I only bought one of those monster truck trick cars for the first time this year. I’ve never seen anyone pack one, at least that I am aware of, nor have I seen a review on them. I see them all the time in the store so I decided to buy one and test it out. So glad I did. Cool car!

Thanks for this great video, Trish. I love Dollar Tree, but have not seen a whole lot of items that you showed. I use to buy those tea sets all the time. but not lately. I like to pair those with the tea time coloring book from Wal-Mart. I have not seen the big sets of Lego knock offs or those flowers. I love to get those little blankets in the baby dept. and cut them in fourths and round the edges and add lace. I like to pair those with the 3.00 babies from Wal-Mart that are recently 1.00. I also like their 2-pk of playing cards. I have a hard time finding t-shirts there. I know what you mean with those prices on the coloring books. I have some big happy face stickers and I cover them up ! Thanks again!!!

Oh yeah, the baby blankets would have been a great item to add to this list. I thought of the 2-pack playing cards, while I was editing the video, so, missed that one, too, but that’s definitely a fave. I was racking my brain trying to think of everything that I like to buy at DT, but it seems that I forgot a couple of things 😂

I always passed on the pumps, too. Then they didn’t have them in stock for a couple of years. When they finally got them in again I decided to try one. I was impressed. It’s not cheaply made. I like it. My stores just restocked it again. That’s the 3rd or 4th restock Within the past 8 months or so.

Yes to all of it! I so love the cars, the orange one. I stocked up last year but haven’t seen them again at the stores in my area. Hoping they will restock. The tea sets and figurines are great too! I know DT went up to 1.25 but some of the toys are definitely better quality. TFS!

My stores restocked the green toys dupe since last year, I want to say about four months ago. They are all gone again, of course, but I feel confident they will continue restocking them as they are so popular. They are slowly getting in toys again. My stores just restocked the tea sets last week. So fingers crossed on the cars 🤞

TFS I will have to watch for the Gabby Matching Game, since I got a number for the dolls for a great price! I was able to get a bunch of the Fuzzy Friends on my last trip to DT. They haven't carried the imitation green toy cars in a while, but I was hoping they would carry them for Easter baskets.

Yes, my stores also have plus section T-shirts and Crayola products that they charge $3-$5 for. The T-shirts and Crayola coloring and activity books that I am showing and speaking of are $1.25 items. My stores (6 out of 9) carry $1.25 T-shirts on a fairly regular basis. The Crayola coloring books are hit or miss. It’s possible your area doesn’t get them.
