I bet a good metal pegboard above your table put up permanently (attached to the wall studs) would be a great investment for you. You’d not only be able to use hooks, but also magnetic accessories. Something with your most used items within easy arm’s reach.

I found that if you use binder clips and use the hot glue it works great without the zip ties showing. Also you can remove the handles from the binder clips.

I just bought a bunch of these peg boards, and I too was trying to find a way to hang without buying a ton of the sticky tabs. I was only able to find the 2 packs of smaller peg boards army dollar tree, and that would've been pricey to buy the tabs, it would ruin the wall, and I wouldn't be able to move them anywhere else if I changed my mind. Thank you so much for showing a different way to hang them! 😊

Your Peg Board looks awesome. I too bought a few things that I ended up giving my husband to use in his garage because I could not get them to work on the side of my craft cart. The cups I love but my Dollar Tree was all out. I ended up taking the wire mesh type pencil holders and the wire hooks 2 in a pack I found in the teacher's corner and made my cups work on the side of my craft cart. I love it. I keep my crochet hooks and various items in them. Happy Organizing.

You could drill holes in the lips on the back and put them together like you did but it will not interfere with the hole on the front

The pegboard looked really nice and useful, but I agree with you, I probably wouldn't buy more. I do love the black and white checkerboard style, though. I don't know how much regular pegboards cost, but I guess with your creativity, you could paint a pattern on one, and just use metal hooks. Loved the idea though. Have a great day, Jody. Those sticky hooks can rip paint right off the wall including the top layer of the gyprock.

Good job making it work but I agree plain peg board would be better. Menards carries pegboard in 4 x 8, 4 x 4, and 4 x 2 pieces. All you need to do is add a few spacers to hold it away from the wall so the pegs fit. Thanks for sharing.

Use contact picture hangers The plastic Velcro strips. Cut in half and stick 0ne on the pegboard and one on the wall. No zip ties, glue, nails. It takes 4 strips per square. Works beautifully.

EDIT: You already know this apparently lol 😆 🤦🏼‍♀️ P.s. I'm loving your zip tie hot glue idea so far!! I can't wait to see what else you show us in the rest of the video. That little thing with the 3 circles in each corner... The store is supposed to sell adapters/ connectors that snap into those and then you can stick it on the wall with the connector. I imagine those connectors allow both command strip style attachments or holes to hang onto screws or nails.

They have separate packages of adhesive corners to adhere to wall. Regular pegboard cheaper in long run Ikeas is more high end. Can use mounting tape, nails, screws.
