When I was a little girl in kindergarten, I remember they allowed us to take naps. We took mats or towels to lay on the floor. I remember that I wouldn't sleep because I loved to listen to my teachers work. The sound of them cutting, writing, rumbling through pens and pencils and crumbling paper was so relaxing and gave me chills. I couldn't understand what was going on with me . When I told other people about it, they thought I was weird. I was a 5 yr old who didn't even know ASMR existed. It was until I started to watch your videos that I finally found out that what I felt had a name. I realized that I wasn't alone. What I felt was real! For those people who say that it's not real and that it's just a trend, I want for them to explain to me how a 5 year old ,who had never heard about ASMR, was living through it. This was 50 yrs. ago! I know for sure it wasn't just a trend. I've lived with this my whole life... and I LOVE it :). Thank you for helping me realize that I'm ok and that there's more people like me.

Wow, thank you for sharing your story. ASMR is absolutely real and totally legitimate. You know this by the story from the founders of this group. The trend that you speak of on KZbin is also very real. Though, some of it is not legitimate at all. There are many people who make videos for ASMR and there are many people listening to ASMR who have no clue what it's about. Or they have perverted it. I am so glad you found out what you've been experiencing all these years. Sure feels good, doesn't it? ❤️

After watching many of your videos, when I went to Canada (I’m from U.K.), one of the things I wanted to see were the big box stores. Unfortunately I didn’t get to a Dollar Tree, but went to a Walmart and Dollarama a couple of times. I'm so curious what the reason was for your trip to Canada. My videos certainly are not informative about how big these places are. I always focus on a certain area and up close scenes. Not so much panoramic. I will bet you were pretty surprised at the time.

@ninaschannel3218 oh that's good to know. I'm glad my microphone is coming across well on televisions. It sounds like crap on mine for some reason. No kids for me on Halloween. Apparently I moved to a street that simply does not get involved with trick-or-treating. Not sure why exactly. It's not an HOA thing. The street just doesn't do it. I found that out last year when I decorated and got ready with candy and everything and not a soul came. I finally looked out and saw that there wasn't another single house on the street that was decorated for Halloween. 🤷🏻‍♀️

No one chooses that for the street. People on the street decide that they don't want to hand candy out when kids don't come to the street anyway. They go to other streets. That's just how it is.

@@hilmrtz In Tennessee, there were no children that actually lived on our street. Our street was just one of those well known places in the historic district. Here, there are children that live on our street. But there's a better and wealthier district elsewhere. Better candy. More candy. Seems to be the way in Susanville. Same way with the Christmas lights at Christmas time. 🤷🏻‍♀️😭
