Beautiful job, Bethany!!! My one year wedding anniversary is coming up on May 19, 2019, and I’m still obsessed with all things wedding! Hey Bethany, just watching your wedding DIYs again. I’m sure I already commented on this video. of course everything is just gorgeous; I just wanted to suggest to those ladies out there who want to recreate the centrepiece with glass candle sticks if you go super high use a bigger base for balance. I think dollar tree has a larger version of the plate she uses in the video. Your centrepiece will be wobbly when you put the florals on it otherwise. 😊

As a planner who's been doing this for over 25 years, the most important thing is organization. If diying your wedding, have everything done in advance as much as possible. And always make sure you have a workers kit on site.

My daughter will be getting married soon and she has chosen the Woodland Theme. Now her venue will be a Southern Baptist Church for everything. So, one issue down and the the biggest (the groom’s father is the pastor and will be officiating). I have 4x6 wood picture frames (not the ones with sticks in the back) and I thought I would burn their name on top and wedding date on bottom then put engagement pictures in them give them as gifts to guests. Also, use them as centerpieces with lanterns with fairy lights hanging down that I’m going to make with the Tumbling Tower game, make a twine bird’s nest and put painted a pair of birds from Dollar Tree in it. I’m trying to think of a floral arrangement to put with it all. I don’t know her colors yet. I believe she will be using Rose Gold as one. I know it will be a Fall wedding. It’s their favorite time of the year.
