The Ho 229 turns on a freaking dime, but bleeds speed REALLY fast. And without a rudder, getting your nose on target is a chore. I still loved playing it, but you really have to leave yourself room to make a straight line attack vector, especially when ground attacking. And, as always, love the videos of the Heavies!!!!

Try to add key bindings for going up and down, and rolling for the planes instead of controling it with a mouse. U will fly so much easier (bind "S" key to go up, "W" to go down, "A" to roll left and "D" to roll right) if you use this while dogfighting you will be much more maneuverable. HO229 doesn't have a rudder so it can't turn right or left so you have to rool it to turn.

Yeah I'm not sure, I think the subtitles added some values to the content, and they can be useful for those who can't understand english perfectly, or who watch your videos while doing something else (I love watching your vids while cooking, sometimes the subtitles are really useful when there's a lot of noise covering your beautiful voice hahaha). But as others mention it, as long as you're happy with the format, we will be happy, it's the more important for us I guess. With or without subtitles, Dollars is still Dollars :)

the comedic subtitles for little short quips/references are honestly all i need. if it saves you a lot of time and headaches go for it man. great video as always, youre the reason i boot up warthunder every so often still. Would love to see more HO-229 as well, its a beautiful plane. You gotta turn with pitching up/down to make use of it though, and its profile is insane.

Tip for aircraft: before you pull your mouse to the left or right, roll with A or D atleast 45 degrees and then pull your mouse in that direction. This will allow you to get your nose on target much easier. Also the Ho is just one big wing so it's very maneuverable.

hey there i'm an Air player and you got me to play Ground, which i play a lot too now seeing you use a fighter was unexpected tbh for context, the Horten 229 is the slowest early jet but trades it's speed for a mobility that any fighter of any era (from early props to late jets) can be jealous of it's got a powerful armament but lacks a vertical stabiliser, and thus a yaw control, leading to those misaligned "unstable" moments when the nose isn't where you want it to be this doesn't happen in a turn though, making the Horten a dogfighter while other jets are better off doing hit-and-runs

air main here- been years since i lastplayed WT, but Dorito is turnfighter just keep speed above 450iirc and you be good. But since you dont have tail you have to predict where enemy plane will be cus bigger corrections are almost impossible you also have rather fast projectile but ROF of those guns is not great and i had multiple fast planes slip between shots

Placement on the turret sides of the maus without the text? I struggle to get just the maus on tanks, ends up looking funky and off center when i try to get just the text/tank on vehicles.
