Fun fact, there is a reason for all those .50 cals on the M50, they use special ammunition that has the same ballistic trajectory as the rounds of the recoilless rifles. They would be used to estimate range by firing those .50 cals. They also had a tracers so that the gunner could see them.

It is called a spotting rifle, and one was on the 106mm Recoilless regardless of mounted on Ontos or other vehicle or the mount with wheels for fixed positions. There was a five round detachable magazine on the spotting rifle.

you can just keybind the "select next weapon" button and it will center your sight on the cannon thats going to fire when you click. the problem then is you gotta hit an extra button every time you wanna fire to select the next gunsight.

The .50 rifles on the M50 were for rangefinding IRL. They should have the same velocity as the big round, which means if you can hit with the.50, you can hit with the recoilless. That’s right, America uses a big gun to range in for an even bigger gun.

It basically is equivalent to the 106s, but just like IRL it only works out to just beyond a kilometer. This is due to several factors such as the differences in inertia and drag between what is basically a .50 Beowulf and a 105mm HEAT-FS round.

Ontos is a favorite, always come out with 3 or 4 tallies. Since I use real gun sight locations im used to the wacky gun mounts. The air mobile deck is so fun. Cant play normal peak a boo tank style with ontos need to go for full flank, appear, kill 3 guys then run away to reload. Wouldnt have had that trouble at 7:00 if you used the sighting .50 cals before firing. Realistic gun sight location users know coax firing helps make sure your barrel is clear of local obstructions, if you only use the magic FPS sight you never learn. Swede MCLOS only deck is fun with the mclos cent too.

Best 7.0 for making tiger 2's cry is the M46 Patton. Wicked mobility, 305mm flat pen with HEAT-FS, great all-rounder on the M26 chassis. It's disgustingly underrated/loved

Fun fact: the .50 cals on the Ontos are a low-velocity spotting gun with the same trajectory as the recoilless rifles. The idea being that as setting off the recoilless creates a lot of flash and blast, you use the comparatively stealthy ranging gun to determine if tou are on target before sending the hate.

Very fun video again! Love it! The T92 is one of my alltime favourite tanks. Once it has HEAT, it is an incredibly powerful tank and a mean goblin >:) I got my first nuke in it and even if it got "butchered" by beeing upranked in BR, it is still very good. You should try to fully grind it and have a great time in it. Greetings from germany!

As a kingtiger player, it is just one of the things which scares the KT. And not even the worst one. The game changed really badly to heavies, now they are just unplayable, they really don't have anything special or scary about them anymore.

Great to see 1960s to 70s vehicles fighting WWII tanks. These light tanks can pen the front armor of the heavy tanks at max range. Thats what makes WT so much fun that I quit 12 months ago.
