Absolutely beautiful and you make it look so easy to make… I think I’m going to try doing it… thank you❤

Oh how I wish I had a dollhouse! Now that my children are all grown, maybe I’ll be able to save enough $ to buy myself one. I grew up very poor and would use cardboard boxes to play with my little dolls. But this has always been a dream of mine!

mrscalifdreamer, I have found some dollhouses on yard sales. Many of the items I make cost minimal. In my mind, children are the most imaginative when you don't have toys. When little, I used to make a doll from a stick and dressed tit with flowers.

I found one at Goodwill for 8 dollars and worked on it for years. Another I got from a friend. I built it up from nothing. You would not believe what both of them looked like when I got them. They were garbage and now they are like something out of my childhood fantasy. You can do anything you set your mind to. Start now. You don't have to buy a 700 dollar dollhouse.

I have just started on my first house (a very simple structure) and am making it in cardboard. I have seen many beautiful dollhouses on KZbin made with cardboard. Firstly it is inexpensive, it’s lightweight and great to practice on especially if you make a mistake (I have made a few). And if you do make a mistake, just throw it out and grab more cardboard boxes. I am similar to you, we didn’t have much growing up but now I am retired and approaching 69 I have decided to make my own. As they say “it’s never too late”. I hope not. Fingers crossed that I don’t give up and my eyesight doesn’t fail me. Start with something small and see if you like it, otherwise you might be overwhelmed like I was. Happy dollhouse making. Cheers Robyn ☺

Just found you and I'm so impressed! The lace curtains worked beautifully!! I so agree with your comment about other curtains being so bulky and your curtain rods were genius!!! Excellent job!!!!

My smaller dollhouse came with curtains so I don't need them and my big dollhouse doesn't have windows or doors (yet, because it's complicated, I would have to show you photos) so I don't need curtains at the moment. Your doors and windows look spectacular. Especially the doors.

The lace fabric is gorgeous! May I ask where you got it? It's perfect for a dollshouse because it drapes so nicely. Thank you.

Was just wondering why one of the windows have only one panel instead of two? The curtains are lovely by the way.
@LoyDollhouse5 жыл бұрын
Very Obsevant Thessel Matthew. One window is way too narrow. After I finished, I took a good look at it and decided to add the other panel as well.

Wonderful! I did not have a drill so I used a hammer and nail to make the holes. It worked easily.

Donde puedo comprar esa herramienta para hacer los hoyos? o como se llama para bscarla en linea?
I love them. I have 2 small windows that are almost floor level, I made lace curtains to cover them. I"m now on the lookout for earrings like what you used for the light. Plus I am working on other lights using your you tube videos for for ideas. Keep up the great work. One question, I saw your opening items from Mexico, do you know where in Mexico they were purchased? I have a sister that grew up in Mexico City and she still has lots of family there. Might have to get them to start looking for things for me.

Why didn’t you do 2 drops on the curtains closest to the door?
@LoyDollhouse3 жыл бұрын
Because the window is much narrower than the one on the right but, after the video I thought that it didn’t look good and I added the other drop. You are very observant.

I cant even watch 10 seconds sadly. Either talk or play music, not both during a tutorial. This is annoying noise when both are competing. Nobody comes here for your music.
@aphr0d4 жыл бұрын
Do you have sensory issues perhaps? The music was quite soft and I found her voice was very clear.
