"Good morning Dolls" "Morning Gretchen!" lol. I LOVE how you used the fringe edge as the tiebacks, it looked really fancy. A beautiful touch. The whole water and glue mix is such an invaluable tool for miniaturists with how versatile it is, I just about permanently have a small tupperware container of it in my art studio because I use it so often lol. Have a wonderful day 😊

🥰 These curtains are Lovely and I love how the frayed tie backs were a perfect bonus to them.. like the icing on the cake! 🤗 My fabric tac is like that as well..lol ..I haven't really explored with curtains yet. Ive only made the shades ..I was just saying how I will be needing to make a set for the upstairs hall. These ones are to fancy for The ol' farmhouse of course...but I adore them. As well as that lovely piece of lace..I had so many visions come thru at first sight. 😊 I like the idea of using the foam board instead of the extra step of making curtain rods. Have you considered using wax paper..instead of foil..it works pretty well for peeling off the braided rugs I made..using tacky glue. Thanks for sharing this lovely miniature vision...See ya soon ☺️

Green has become one of my favorites too! It really is hard to find tiny fabric things!! I always look for those "silly tiny ribbons" they put in clothes to keep them on the hangers. They are Nice and small! Great for tie backs, apron strings, ribbons and so many other 12th scale fabric things. Thank you for watching!

They look fantastic! As someone new to all miniatures I'm wondering if you can wash the curtains afterwards if you don't glue them directly to the house or anything. Is it possible after the glue dip? My project last year was a doll house for my daughter, but I try to make everything removable for in case I have to wash anything. But I love the pleated look that you can't otherwise achieve with the small curtains as they're just too stiff, no matter what fabric you use.

Hello and thank you! Welcome to the Wonderful World of Miniatures. I have never had an instance of needed to remove curtains to be "washed". I install them with the intention for them to be permanent unless I decide to re-decorate, in which i would be replacing them any way.For a child's dollhouse I would not use the water and glue because realism is not really the objective when setting up a dollhouse for a child. But if you do make them, I would not attempt to wash them. If they get dirty from the children playing you make need to just replace them I hope this helps! Thank you for watching!

Beautiful color and fabric for these! The house I'm currently using for my dolls' house doesn't have any actual windows. Wondering if you had any thoughts on this? Have you ever done this to create a window where there wasn't one in actuality? ❤

YES! I Truly believe in creating whatever your dollhouse or room needs... Including windows or doors. All you need a window frame 🪟, you can find a Nice image of a field or houses, body of water and put it behind glass before you glue it to the wall. Make sure you measure the distance between the floor and the bottom of the window so that the position is natural. The hallway above the pantry in the Rooming House Dollhouse has a staircase to the attic but it doesn't go to attic. It's an illusion. I also have 2 false doors and false stairwell in my original dollhouse. Check out My Original dollhouse tour series. Let me know how it goes 😊❤️
