I think you are doing an amazing job. Don't worry about getting things perfect, if we don't fail occasionally, we don't learn. Welcome those awkward moments as a chance to expand your knowledge ❤❤❤

Thank you so much!! You’re definitely right. Sometimes I get caught up in trying to do everything right the first time and it’s not realistic at all 😭❤️

Thank you!! Definitely noted! There’s honestly not enough dollhouse tutorials out there 🥲 you have to really search for them

Hi! I'm a self-confessed perfectionist. I procrastinate and obsess, but once I got going with my dollhouse,I realised there's no mistake that can't be fixed or covered up in the future. A dollhouse is never finished...because you can always change it or add to it if you want. I used to rush to finish any creative project I took on, which led me to getting overwhelmed, or bored and giving up, or starting a new project, lol. My dollhouse is a forever project, it will take time and I can come and go working on it when it suits me. It's full of dodgy, wonky handmade furniture I've made and crinkly wallpaper, but I will replace all that once I become more skilled (or cover it with picture frames or a well placed plant lol). I love watching 'little gretchens workshop', 'Whitney labrie' and 'Queen city minis' tutorials on KZbin for inspiration as they have great ideas and also show the 'mistakes' and show how to fix imperfections rather than just wowing us with their talent (all though they are very talented). Try not to stress too much, it will come together eventually. When its frustrating and not fun anymore, just take a break. Good luck.❤

Thank you!! I’m also coming to realize this as well and I’m trying not to rush to complete things just to finish it and only working on it when I really want to!

Oh…. I did see last night that a gal used the liner we put in our cabinets for her floors. I’ll try to find her channel I watched last night to give you some ideas and inspiration.

I call it Dollhouse hell , I purchased a used Vermont farm house , it just needed to be repainted inside and out it also needed windows, stairs ,molding some doors and divider walls , I was so excited it was well built and sturdy .... It was so hard figuring out what colors to choose and how to make them compliment each other , then my painting mistakes began to thick and pasty , this paint, that paint , add water ,trial and error and it still looks horrible , now I'm putting thick durable shelving paper in and even if it works I'll still not have what I really had my heart set on but at least I'll have somewhere to put all the furniture I bought at hobby lobby for it . I know exactly how you feel . How can something so small be so difficult and such a money Pitt . ⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️⛈️ 👀👩🏻🌪️⚡🌪️ ✂️📏📦💒💒🖌️👚🎨🪟🚪💸💸💸🚽

LITERALLY!! It’s so hard when you had this vision in your mind that feels so impossible to actually make happen 😭😭

It’s called an update not an add! At the end of the video is clips of what everything looks like as well! The purpose of this video was to talk about my experience so far though. Maybe try watching the whole video first before commenting or maybe just leave nicer comments!! Not everything is going to be made just for you :)
