I love how easy it is to size these up and down in scale. The majority of the dolls I have are 1:6th scale so I'll need to build a custom house, but you have so many amazing project I can just double in size!

This is insane... I’ve seen doors that can open but never ones that look as realistic as this one does with hinges and a door handle that really turns to open the door. This is just incredible. I said it before but your talent is just beyond incredible

This is brilliant. I'm restoring a 100-year old dollhouse and I could not find any doors to fit (others broke). This way I can make them exactly the right size. Thanks so much for sharing this video.

Im making a 1/6 scale door right now. I wasnt going to make it operable, but this is making me reconsider; it doesnt look too complicated, plus ive got the mini hinges already

I needed this video! Doors are expensive, and I work mostly in 1:8 scale, so they're not quite the right size, but I've never braved making my own. Thank you!

One suggestion would be: to bevel the inserted raised panels of your door would really make it look authentic. Good work!

Always appreciate you linking all your supplies - those miter shears are great! The link for the drill bits doesn't work :( But just knowing those exist is helpful, going to go look for some! Always excited when a StS video comes up on my feed. :3

Hi. I love your tutorials! Question: I've used craft sticks a couple of times for various things, and I was not successful in getting a smooth surface because the wood warped when I painted it with acrylic. Do you ever have this problem? Am I doing something wrong?
