First time working on such a big doll! She was very fun to work with an much easier than the smaller MH versions. Although we did spend much more materials on her lol
Everything has it's pros and cons I guess.

I use a pot of screaming hot boiling water and wait til her head is actually squishy. Next I use needle nose plyers [long and thin with a slight bend] to get in the neck hole and grab the peg pulling down - this puts less strain on the peg. I do have to redunk her head sometimes.... Thus far I am very lucky and they came off no breaks :)

Omg. I see this doll in a stand of this market I always go to. No one has bought her yet, and I never asked for the price. I was unsure about her because I wasn't sure I'd be able to customize her the way id like with the supplies I have but this makes me want to get her if i see her next time! Maybe I will. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Also, lovely work ❤ I'm so jealous how you carve out the eyes. I'm scared to practice in fear of ruining a doll. ^^;

If you are ever at a loss for what to say, just describe what going on in the video and the process, why you do certain things the way you do, or tips and tricks you have found useful for certain parts. Example: I used white around the lashes and eyes to compliment the lip colors, so and so part was hard for me but turned out ok, etc

Hi! For the patafix putty; if you want it to stick, just heat it with an hairdryer first. But it will melt again with the direct sun wramth so it won't be a good idea to glue back the scalp... It's useful in doll photography if you need to reposition often the eyes or to make a wig stick to the head.

I believe the putty you used to set the eyes in place is called sticky tack. In French, we call it gommette!

Your attempt at inset eyes made me cringe. When you do inset eyes with a monster high doll you want to mold the eyes in the shape of the eye hole you cut out on the doll. As well as knowing that your going to make the eyes inset ahead of time so you can cut the head in the back big enough to fit the eyes. It's also best to get eye putty from a shop that sells dolls for the best putty. Edit: Also you should never use glue or apoxie to set the eyes in, as by doing this you can no long adjust the eyes or change them. So if you want to be able to use more then one pair of eyes then you would need to use putty so you can swap them out. It can also make it difficult to fix them if they get cracked or damaged.
