My biggest Rainbow High critique is that many of the dolls look like the same character, with a different hair color. They are unquestionably beautiful. I just wish they had more personality.

I feel like the issue with Amaya lies with MGA as a whole, unless they're ethnicities are specifically stated, they will reuse the same skin tones for every doll to make an ethnically ambiguous doll which is why Barbie works better imo because now we get dolls of various skin tones and "confirmed" ethnic backgrounds via their Instagram posts and holiday dolls.

If no one pointed it out yet, the 12 Days of Christmas Barbie comes in a large, sturdy box with drawers to make a 12-day advent calendar. There are accessories like a mini-Christmas tree and nutcracker. There are also two dresses in total. So, still a hefty price at $160 (and not a Silkstone doll), but not as bad as if it were just the single doll shown.

It's so funny because goin' out cloe looks so much better in person then in stock pictures. I took her hair down and she looks leagues better now. Even swapped out the capri's with the always bratz cloe skirt.

I own that Ken and he's clothes are excelent quality, they are super soft and dream besties usually are nicely priced. He is a great doll for when he goes on sale. And his phone first inside the case

I am not a Rainbow High collector but I immediately thought Amaya's outfit was a little odd. "Interesting" is definitely the right word to describe it, I'm not the person to decide if it's inappropraite or not but I just think it's an odd choice overall!

18:34 Cloe has always been my favorite bratz character and they did her so so wrong. I hate the frills on the pants. And i wish they would have just given her full jeans instead of capris. The jacket doesnt go with the rest of the outfit. I don't like the hairstyle. The way the mouth was done also looks too close to her nose. Thats another pet peeve of mine. And none of the other dolls in the line seem to have this issue. She was just done so dirty.

Good video! I didn't want the first 4 Dream Besties, But when I saw Daisy and Ken, I fell in love and ordered them right away. I didn't know about the MH keychains until now. If I see Neptuna, I will get her. She looks like she's in a little aquarium!

I liked all the Draculaura dolls released that came with vehicles - it’s just that I don’t like needing to pay for a vehicle I don’t really have any use for. I’d totally get this Drac if she was doll only deal with price to match.

I remember in the late 90s and early 2000s, ppl wearing Chinese and other Asian inspired fashions. I don't think they do it to be offensive, I think they do it because they find the clothing beautiful and interesting, and a lot of Asian people actually like and appreciate when ppl in western countries wear things familiar with them

Flashing a stock photo of that Chloe doll I swear induced in me the exact same visceral reaction as a well crafted horror movie jumpscare would. That said I would sooner purchase a Sadako (the spookydooky girl from The Ring) doll and display it on top of my TV tto stare at me than support the style choices made with that Chloe doll.

I have a few of these. Bob Mackie Angels, Vintage Holiday Barbies, and Monster High spell Witch. I want Daisy snd Ken from Bestie line. I fell in love with Barbie Daisy dolls in general. She's always a curvy doll with her signature pink hair. She'd called Daisy because when she debuted in the Fashionista line she was wearing a Black dress with daisies on it. I find it sweet they gave her daisy accessories. That being said our tastes differ on some of these dolls but I still love you. Looking forward to the Wants list.

I bought Howlexa cause she's a wolf and I love dogs. Really any dog adjacent thing and I love space! Not sure how they relate, but I thought it was funny. Then Amazon just didn't deliver her...No idea where she is...Same thing with my Barbie's from Mattel Creations at the nearest distribution center then fell off the face of the planet. I'm having terrible luck when it comes to shipping and dolls this season...Just weeks in the mail. There's very few new releases that are interesting to me. The thing I want the most that I've seen floating around the internet is that play line Barbie with the ugly clothes and the Odile face. I'm obsessed with that face! No idea when she's coming. I got the Odile ballet doll, but she's one of the dolls that's MIA...

If I was a Bratz fan, Carol G would be the Bratz I'd buy, because, my gosh, she's the whole package! The hair, the shimmery dress the face! Yeah, gorgeous. This one and all the Bratzillas, because: duh, witches! What's not to love about witches? 🥰 Sooooo 22:48 Witch Weaver, love them, love them, love them. The green eyes, the red hair, the web face tattoos....the Harlequin motif, (because Freak du Chic and Harmonie Ghoul 🥰) YAAAAASSSSSS. Last witch-related comment: Casta Fierce. LOVE the idea of her, I'm aware of the Sasha Fierce/Beyonce reference, but the hairstyle RUINED it for me. If I EVER become proficient at rerooting, or can hire someone to custom reroot her, I'd snap her up in a heartbeat.

If these dolls, I personally like the Holiday Barbie and the vintage face mold is my favorite. Probably because that’s what I grew up with. Her outfit could use a bit of work though. She’s too expensive though, so I’m not getting her. I like the Pixlings and was thinking, you could just paint her tail. I know you are a talented doll artist 😊. I’m interested in the Draculaura, of course 💗. So far most of the dolls I don’t want are the RH dolls. It’s so depressing because they used to be such a fabulous doll line 😢. As to the Cheongsam, I don’t see any problem with it. Many many companies sell them, and other traditional Asian outfits all around the world. If they didn’t want anyone wearing them, they wouldn’t sell them to anyone. I used to have quite a few of dresses in that style. I have the Harris Reed doll and it’s gorgeous. Harris is gender fluid and uses they / them pronouns. The doll is a representation of them so uses the same pronouns. I’m horrified at Chloe’s design. I do want the others though.
