I’m a new Beyonce fan, so to speak. I attended her Renaissance concert last summer. 2 hours 45 minutes of music, dancing, culture, celebration!! Outside of my first Run DMC concert where I fell in love with LL Cool J and the Beastie Boys, that show was the best concert I’ve attended ever🩶🎠She posts on her IG account and GQ has featured her in a recent interview. Artists evolve and she’s a mother now too. She’s working on businesses and the next rock themed album. She communicates using multiple modes, releasing two albums in as many years with one concert tour are two ways. I get leaving fans wanting more, I get it!! I’m not a fanatic but I respect her growth as an artist.

When Cardi won best rap album, it wasn’t because she had “paid her dues”, it was because the music she released was classified as hip hop, EVEN THOUGH, it had Latin and pop influence, and bc it was the most popping “rap” album to come out at that time- to Lorin’s point! In the same way that white artists like Eminem or Macklemore received nominations for hip hop, which is historically black and has cultural implications that might make them incapable of releasing real hip hop, they released real hip hop (to societal standards). They let Macklemore WIN best rap album, best rap song and best rap performance at the GRAMMYS LMAO. THE GRAMMYS. Even BET gave Iggy Azalea a rap nomination. Never forget that.

I’m a huge Beyonce fan and have been a huge Country Music fan. This was a great album, a Beyonce Album… but not country! It had country undertones, but was a Beyonce Album!!! I think it’s unfair to say she got snubbed when there are MANY other True Country Artists/Albums. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Dolly is on 2-3 tracks as well as a few other features from Country Artists, STFU when speaking on shit u have no knowledge about! . People should have KNOWN that the cma's would not nominate Queen B for any awards. When I first heard that Queen B was releasing a country record, my FIRST thought was the music executives will not award her with ANYTHING despite the amount music she has sold in the country music field.

Dolly Parton knows how to play the game…country music is racist point blank period. Beyoncé knew this was gonna happen. Dolly is someone who is diverse and collabs with everybody, but she still has to stick with her politics of the CMAs. When you speak against things you then become blackballed…Dolly knows Beyoncé was worthy of nominations but can’t publicly say it which is sad. It shows the kinda culture the country industry has. Charlamagne is playing a dumb devil's advocate. Post Malone is new to country music and he got nominated. Charlamagne himself said he only heard of Shaboozey because he's black and on Cowboy Carter but for some reason it's okay that he got nominated and she didn't. Beyond race and her being a woman, there is this weird obsession of trying to keep Beyonce in "her place."
