Aside from the astounding arrangement and performance…that drummer is top shelf!

I agree this deserves so much more recognition!! I think they are one of the very few creators that are honest about the follower engagement. There are way too many accounts out there faking those numbers, so everyone has lost the sense for realistic proportions.

Thought the same. Crazy times when the majority primarily follows the media hype and do not understand, recognize or appreciate where worldclass happens. Sign o’ the times.

Everything about this is amazing, and the bass player is just beyond wow!

This is beyond world class. How is this even possible? It took me six times of listening to it to even half way understand what's going on here rithmically. Let alone harmonically. I've one comparison: the 'singers unlimited' (I suppose you've heard of them) Magic voices, incredible arrangement. Thank you endlessly for sharing this here.

I can't believe they removed this song from their CD on iTunes! I saw them perform live, and these women are amazing. Their vocal arrangement on the song is fantastic.

I recently went to a Säje concert that was hosted at my University. I watched a video that had the original Jolene in the background, immediately left that video and started watching this because the live performances was so memorable. I love this arrangement and their voices!

It absolutely worked for me - phantastic. That 5/8 Groove ist so subtle, so easy going and flowing (- i couldn't get it out of my head so i transcribed it)! Blending, dynamics, rhythmic variation of the theme - so cool! The Band is so nicely loose and tight at the same time - wow! The only very small little detail i don't fully go for is the last chord, that seems to go away from the general harmonic drift. Great Arrangement - Bravi and thanks!

I’m not a jazz fan per se but this ‘kind’ of interthreaded jazz harmony I love to mix in my listening to music. And actually I’d say this group is epitome of ‘that kind’ of jazz. It’s like a Jimmy Buffett or Nanci Griffith video: you are compelled to watch rather than just listen because there’s so much of the right stuff going on that you have to see it not just hear it. Fantastic.

I didn't dig it. I can't say why. However, I dig you ladies, because what you're doing is simply wonderful. Wonderful arrangement, flawless blending and sound, everything was perfect. Just didn't do it for me. Doesn't mean y'all aren't spectacular. Liked and subscribed, looking forward to hearing what you come up with next.
@andreamyrte91964 жыл бұрын
I absolutely do dig it, from the arrangement and the rhythm section to the vocals - as you said, all fantastic! But around 3:23 for example, you notice how there may be a bit too much compression on the vocals - the dynamics don't build as naturally as you would expect for such largely acoustic music. It sounds... cramped, I guess?

@@andreamyrte9196 Good catch. A little squish there... also the wonders of the KZbin compression algorithm at work.
