I initially liked Beyonce's 'fixed' version but after thinking about it, and seeing a comment like yours a while back, it lost a lot of its charm for me. 'Fixing' it so the singer 'girl bosses' changes the story completely. It almost feels like it takes away the voice of the poor woman in the original. I still like how Beyonce's version sounds, but I don't like it as much.
