Hey Sarah and Cass here from TrailMagic! We are a upcoming freeze dried backpacking food company slowly weeding through the red tape of the Virginia government! Can't wait to get final approval and be on the shelves! Loved meeting Hillbilly and Osha and can't wait to go again! Great hike everyone!

Nice video !! I've been to the Sods twice. Both times in June. It's gotta be awesome there in the winter time. Thanks for taking me along via this video. If I ain't there in person, this is the next best thing.

@hillbillyhiker we stayed at that same campsite a few days before you. We arrived late Wednesday and went up to Bear Rocks then came back down and out on a Saturday. We must have just missed each other. My video will be up soon. Stay tuned!!!

What kind of footwear system did you wear? Curious what the best balance between warm and dry is.

KrizAkoni DUDE! It was nuts. I was just there this past week. At one point we were down to our underwear to cross a very cold red creek.

Great Video - Love Dolly Sods! Hiked there many times but it was before my Vlogger days. Those stream crossing reminded me of hiking the West Fork Trail in Sedona last February. It was a 6.5 mile out and back trail with 13 stream crossing each way - 26 in total. I slipped off a rock on crossing #5 to mid shin - both legs. Had to drain icy water from my boots and keep on hiking !!! The vid is on my channel if you want to check it out.
