Sometimes everyone thinks I should be stronger than what I can be but I’ll be brave no matter what every day comes. My daughter told me this song reminded her of me, but it reminds me of my precious Mama. She passed in 2012, and nothing has been the same. She had a very hard life, but she was the strongest person I know. She was a small, humble, Christian Lady, and when she walked into a room, the whole room would light up. Her voice was low & soothing, eyes would sparkle, and...a beautiful smile. No one understood me like Mama. She always made me feel like everything was going to be ok. The last time I ever talked to Mama was over the phone, and I ask her to sing "Kiss An Angel Good Morning". She had a beautiful voice. She lived 10 hours away, and was making sure she got me on the phone. My brother said she was acting kind of desperate to talk to me. This was on Jan.1st....on the afternoon of Jan. 3rd, I understood why. She knew she was going to die. I just Thank God that I was able to hear her precious voice...one more time. At the end of the call, she would say, "I love you, Jessie", then she would say " Make sure you eat enough.". Then went on about 5 more times with her telling me things, and that she loved me. I should have known. I just remember not wanting to let her go, either. On January 3rd, 2012...I lost the most precious Mama in the world. I love & miss you Mama ❤ I'll be with you one day, Mama ❤ June 14, 2019

My momma was so precious ❤️💕💕😘💕😘💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 She passed away on 2007 at age 94. She was part Cherokee Indian. Her Grandma was packing 1/8 being full-blooded Cherokee Indian. I remember my GREAT Grandma Ramsey. Her she wasn't really known but at her death was thought to be in her early 100's. She wore her long dresses that she Made with an apron on with pockets that she kept her chewing tobacco in. Her hair was rolled & bobbed upon top of her head. She spoke Very few words except to my Mother. She fell broke a jop & eventually died from that. A wonderful memory 💜❤️💜❤️💜

@@Huffdanny-p2n I'm in home hospice. I fell in the bathroom and broke my right hip and 18 fractures on my thigh. The cancer is eating my bones. I'm sad and wish I would have done small things. Go to Christmas services and listen to the choir and bells. Everyone feel love for each other. Of course there are more but that is the top of my list.

@@Huffdanny-p2n I originally had breast cancer in 2004. I had a Mastectomy and 8 rounds of chemotherapy. For 5 years I had harmone blockers. In 2016 my right leg buckled from underneath me. I actually went to ER had X-rays and showed cancer back but in right leg bone. I have been on the most recent aggressive chemo. One the first one Ibrance worked great. After a year the Ibrance stopped working and on to another chemo and radiation. On July 4th I was getting out of bed and again my right leg buckled and I fell. I broke my hip and my thigh is broken in 18 places the oncologist said surgery no option and no radiation. . The hospital released me to home hospice. I have lots of family that I always have at my home.

This song is about my mom. In the past year she's had to care for my dad who was battling cancer. We lost him on 01 June and was buried on my mom's 60 birthday. They were married for 39yrs. And losing him broke her. She's a sparrow now but I know with time she'll soar like an eagle.

Faith, my Mom is 88 years now, still very fit and working around the house and garden, amazing woman! And having experienced 2nd World War and spring 1945 when American Troops entered our village when she was just 12 years old. But she and Grandmother became best friends with the US Troops after some weeks staying at their house. My Grandmother used to cook to all of the US Soldiers, she was like a Mom to them - I think all of them were so lucky to have overcome this cruel time!

I don't know why, but I don't remember this song. I'm sure I've heard it but I either never listened to the words or just listened deeply to them just now. You may have watched all the mothers smiling, crying, whatever the emotion made them do, but I saw my mother. I see her smiling, crying, being sick with cancer before she passed. I see all that and then I see her funeral. So many people there with their own stories of how my mother touched them. All the children from her Sunday school classes, little girls crying out loud, and little boys sniffling to hide their tears. Everyone with tears, but the one that broke me up was a man in the back row, not pretending to hide his tears, not blocking the sobs that came out of him so loud I heard them in the front of the church. This big, strong man made me see more than anything else how my mother had influenced others. She will always be mom to me. I wish I could be half the woman she was. And I wish I could have one more day with her. I miss you Mom.
