That part always makes me laugh a little, because I know there are about 3 or 4 times more Irish-Catholics in America than Ireland at this point (present company included), so I wonder how many Irish-Catholic Canadians there are. Gosh, I miss her sweet way of interviewing.

Here I am in 2022 and for the past few days I've been so sad thinking about her. She talks so freely about herself. And she talks about the toll it takes making this rock band thing work. She wanted to be happy but I can see pain when she talked. And though I never followed the Cranberries much in their time, I am just sad now that this wonderful woman left too soon.

She had a smooth voice, not gravel but perhaps a fine grain of sand? A tiny rasp? Her speech cadence was also very smooth. Articulate and well spoken she was indeed. Dearly missed :-(

In this interview, she is so insightful, honest, reflective, and real. She never apologizes for her past opinion, but she acknowledges her humanity and her youth and her political perspective and her former opinion. So based and so grounded. The interview is very assertive and she does so well with that; I am so happy for her, in hindsight.

Amazing how honest, genuine, good-natured, talented, and down-to-earth she is. So sad she is not here today. She left too soon. I only learned about her and her music from her NPR Tiny Desk performance after her death. How simple and beautiful her songs are. At least we still have those to enjoy. I went to see the Cranberries twice & met Dorlores, very briefly outside the venue (Royal Albert Hall) I told her what a Wonderful voice she had. I'm so very glad I waited, for her. I hope she's resting in peace, with her Dad🌟❤🌟

Such a shame the interviewer kept talking over Dolores would have loved to hear her full answers. The Cranberries are an important part of the soundtrack to my life. I am blessed I was able to see them live once. Dolores was such a sprite with the voice of an angelic host. I still cry at times when I hear her unexpectedly. Her comments about turning to alcohol and being depressed and lonely in hotel rooms were so striking considering how she would pass away 19 years later. Her past predicted her future. It is all so tragic considering how talented she was and yet how alone she was in the end.

It is like us normies think being famous and rich brings you happiness and you dont really need anything but seeing her here talk about her struggles and isolation and being depressed makes me think even success or anything else can not replace human to human connection. We all want to be understood and feel loved and feel fulfilled in our lives. RIP dolores. She is immortal in her voice forever.

She was wonderful. Linger is such a beautiful and yet sad song in some ways. One of my all time fav songs. Great interview, but as someone else mentioned he would interrupt before she finished and to be honest...he seemed to be chasing after far too much of doom and gloom on her life rather than the rest. I cried when I heard she died. Such a talent. RIP Delores.

Tears reading comments brought me to tears as well, because of just how much she was loved by her fans and I loved her as well, and I will always miss hearing her voice also and she really had an angelic voice one of the sweetest singing voices that I have ever heard in my lifetime. And I knew the first time I heard her singing that I was hooked and I couldn’t ever get enough of hearing her sing at all.
