Thanks for the tutorial. I wonder why I've difficulty keeping some distance from the bottom of the pool. I constatly land on the surface just before finishing the 23m lap. How can I correct that?
@siskatrainingsystems2 ай бұрын
Are you saying you are having trouble staying under the water? If yes, try angling your arms more towards the bottom when in streamline position kicking…
@wondwosondemissie45102 ай бұрын
Thanks for your reply, what I wanted to say is that my chest is stuck to the surface at some point that I can't kick or correctly navigate under water with dolphine kick.

Does anyone have any tips about conserving your momentum while dolphin kicking? I feel as though I tend to slightly slow down the longer I kick. Moreover, is the core movement driven primarily by your hips or your chest? Thank you!
@siskatrainingsystems5 ай бұрын
The simply answer is to just increase your swim fitness so that you can keep that momentum going as usually fatigue is the main reason the form goes downhill....the movement is initiated by the chest and everything else follows 👊

How to breathe when in the back? When I put my chest down, the face is also getting under the water
@siskatrainingsystems10 күн бұрын
When your chest is going down that is not the time to breathe ..that is the time to glide and reach ..when you have reached to the max and then proceed to begin the next stroke …that is the time to breathe👊
@MermaidTi5 күн бұрын
@@siskatrainingsystems I meant during the drill when we do just the dolphin kick, no stroke, on the back. I tried to do it in the pool, but can't breathe consistently. Maybe you have some tips on that?
@siskatrainingsystems3 күн бұрын
Just keep your head still and breathe rhythmically as during a phase of that drill it’s always easier to catch a breath …it’s tricky to breathe during that drill you are right

Actually- the dryland is helpful- once I extend my arms, my shoulders and neck get really stiff- my body is pivoting in a "V" shape and it needs to be more of an "S" flow

@tiefdruck14 ай бұрын
@@siskatrainingsystems Wearing barefoot shoes and using wide toe boxes at any occasion makes your kick fast, cause your toes are spread in a natural v-shape and not in a valgus position of big toe. Marginal gains - but that is what matters nowadays...
