I have the nautilus cc plus. Has been great, best pool accessory. my cord had the flaky stuff and eventually the cord went bad at the swivel. I was able to replace the cord myself.

What did it cost to replace the cord? Assuming it was beyond 2 years and out of warranty by then.

@@handydadtv yes it was over 2 years warranty.I got one without the swivel for about $100 on Amazon. I regret not getting the swivel replacement but it works. I had to reuse the floats too.

I have the Maytronics s200, which I think is the same as the Triton? Bought from a recommendation from a long thread on TroubleFreePools forums. Mine is about 4 years old. My cable is still looking pretty good. Between uses I wrap it in large loops to reduce coil memory and store the unit on its side in a large rubermaid tub, out of the sun and with the lid propped so it can dry out. The thing is mostly plastic so storing it out of the sun and babying it extends the life, imo. Thanks very much for the video. Great to see an objective comparison. Including a 5 year update is great too.
