Dolphin-Spotting and Losing the Dinghy While Sailing to Tenby

In this video, I go for another sail in the Bristol Channel on a neighbour's boat - this time to Tenby in Pembrokeshire, southwest Wales. On the trip, we see some dolphins and almost lose the tender!

Glad to see you've been out for a sail again Bethany. Tenby is one of my want to go places for a sail this year too. My wife and I were also on a day trip in the car to Tenby The first Thursday of this month. The boat at anchor with the red mizzen up was there then, we were admiring all the boats at anchor. I told my wife look we could do that this year too. We could sail from Porthcawl to Swansea and stay overnight and then do Swansea to Tenby and drop anchor just like those boats lol... Not sure if you were there on the Thursdsy but what a coincidence 🤔

We left on the Wednesday, but the boat with the red sail was my neighbour James' boat - he stayed a bit longer than us! Small world. Hope you make it to Tenby on your boat :)

Water in the aft cabin. Taste test was it salt water or fresh water. If it was fresh water, then it is possibly rainwater that has leaked in or (and less likely) a fresh water tank leak. Salt water is a bit more of a problem as it is possibly coming in through the stern gland as it was in the aft cabin but you must do the 'taste test' to see, salt or fresh water.

Seeing dolphins is still the dream for us. I think we need to get out of the Solent ⛵
