I just got some walnut to whittle some rings out of. I know turning wood is easier for rings but whittling is a lot more fun.

Thank you very much, my friend, I am glad you enjoyed the video! whittling is very relaxing (although I also enjoy wood turning a lot, hahahaa) If I were to do rings, I would probably use the lathe, but then again, the rings would be perfect because of the nature of the machine, when whittling you give a more artistic touch and no two rings will be identical, so they would have a lot of character! It will probably take you a bit longer, though :) Cheers! Daniel
