Our local contractors have never been serious with their work. No wonder the Chinese are taking over
@ichooseviolence25323 ай бұрын
It's because our local contractors aren't professionals. They are just people who had money to open companies so that they can be awarded tenders for them to eat cash

I totally agree. Hiyo barabara ya gigiri it has taken years. The contractor is a kenyan. Ruto government imefufua cowboy contractors , the ones who were kicked by kibaki and uhuru. Ndio akule na wao .

Surely. How can a major highway passing within the city have open drainages? Do they have plans to close them?

This is good; open drainages are not ideal, especially when they encroach on pedestrian footpaths, sometimes even endangering the public. It would be beneficial to close them where necessary and construct pavements for pedestrians.

Sometimes I wonder who they hire ... there's so much space on the side of central park nashangaa mbona walifinya drainage kwa barabara ivo nkt

Very poor design of Kenyan highways is the reason a tunnel has to be forced there, as usual pedestrians are never considered when designing Kenyan roads, walking paths and footbridges are an afterthought and you can see it on whole section of the Expressway.

@@dolphine254 Thanks, and kindly check out Westlands Road, some serious constructions upcoming by China Hai Jialing including a super duper one at former International casino ( i havent seen the rendering but they are talking of 50 floors, their other upcoming projects in same road are Misty Springs-30 floors, Emerald Springs-31 floors twin towers and The Venor-37 floors twin towers just behind GTC )

I wonder why sidewalks for the public and drainages are always an afterthought. What sought of bogus engineers do we have?
@eleven51673 ай бұрын
They'll just dig trenches and leave heaps of rubble there 😅... foolish contractors dont know how to do their job ... turning the city into a whole shamba ... again just imagine yourself falling into one of those trenches they built earlier ukiwa kwa nduthi ... i once almost lost my leg juu waliacha hizi concrete boulders hapo kando 😏 hii gava lazima iende home

I think the roundabouts should be done away with. It would greatly improve vehicular flow. Either reduce the roundabout size substantially or replace with junction boxes with traffic lights.
@kungfufanta3 ай бұрын
Yes, they should be closed to keep rubbish out to keep it unblocked for water flow.
