Wonderful project! Thank you guys for doing this for the dolphins. You'll also be helping the other underwater critters, too. Fish talk to one another in frequencies we can't hear and loud boats make it hard for them to hear each other. Making a nice, quiet spot for everyone (meaning the animals) is so nice! I hope the quiet spaces can expand. And hopefully people can make quieter boats in the future somehow.

@@warpedwhimsical exactly, that is why I wrote that 6 months ago. Look at the over 100 whales stranded this week on the shores in Australia, so I wonder once again, what are they searching for in that region? When will the greed of these oil companies/extraction industries change their deadly actions on the environment? As long as they get financing from these horrible banks, not so soon is what I sadly think.

Instead of constantly companing and protesting is just a waist of time,you either do it yourself with data on how to help or join in on Planet Wild like myself. Hi. I have a graphic/marketing suggestion. I noticed that your owl vid is doing well. So I thought what if on this video thumbnail, instead of say ‘fixing noise pollution’, say ‘we help this guy’ and point to the dolphin instead. It’s more personal and not focusing on the problem but focusing more on the results. And we humans are empathetic to all beings. Helping 1 life can win our hearts.

You missed to mention another thing that humans and dolphins have in common, dolphins also do drugs. They are gettin high on the poison of the pufferfish, wich is deadly for humans. I think that is an amazing fun fact 😂 Apart from that, thanks for the amazing video 🙌
@planet-wild11 ай бұрын
That’s an interesting fact indeed! Thanks for sharing. 😃 It’s true that there is scientific evidence suggesting that dolphins may engage in what could be considered recreational drug use involving pufferfish toxins, specifically tetrodotoxin. However, it's important to note that our understanding of this behavior is still limited, and more research is needed to determine the exact reasons why dolphins interact with pufferfish in this way and the effects it may have on them. Some scientists suggest it could be a form of self-medication for certain conditions. There are definitely still many things we don’t know about dolphins! 🐬 And thanks for the feedback and support! 🙏💚

I think I was to late with this question under the last video, so I will ask it here again. Wouldn't it have been better to release the young lynx in a region where she wasn't born to prevent inbreeding?
@planet-wild11 ай бұрын
Great question! 🙌 In an ideal world - absolutely yes! Unfortunately, at the moment, the regulatory hurdles to transfer a wild lynx across state borders (which would be needed to get a lynx from the Harz population into any other population) are so high that this is currently not happening. A lot of bureaucracy would have to be changed to make this feasible, and we actually discussed that with Ole. The hope is to enable cross-state collaboration and exchanges in the future. 💚

We hear you, but since it’s essential to have the data to be able to advocate for their protection, it is a necessary/responsible thing to do.
