How European Bison in Poland is "known locally" as a wisent in german? It is a ŻUBR for f..k sake. God damn germans with their kulturkampf.

This is just stupid, the reason the wild is cut back is to minimize the risk of fire incase of power lines falling down. Plus living near these lines can cause cancer so lets give nature some cancer too.

Plant another forest garden for me too! Thank you for the brilliant idea of helping nature do her thing and heal the land and all creatures that depend on such precious earth.

Why do they do this? Escape predators? Knock parasites off their bellies? Impress their girlfriends? Have fun?
@planet-wild4 сағат бұрын
Well, there are several theories, but the exact reason behind this fascinating behavior is still up for debate and being studied by marine biologists!

Dang!! That’s some serious belly floppin’ !! I had no idea 🤷🏻♀️ that they could do that!! I was expecting them to put their wings together and glide back into the water gracefully… but nah… they do the belly flops instead 😂
@planet-wild4 сағат бұрын
Haha, there are a few theories, like shaking off parasites or showing off for mates, but the truth is, marine biologists are still figuring out why they love those belly flops! 😂

Herd sheep and cows, slow, bunched and moving along the paths. They're all connected so there's a non zero number of paths they could use to make sure they didn't overlap too much. This will concentrate carbon there, keep trees from growing without humans having to maintain it, and grow a huge amount of grasses. Edit: Also add horizontal bee hives the way they do in Africa where it's a hollowed log with a removable top so we can maintain them and help with pests and disease. Happy bees don't sting!
