Well yes, it's relaxing and works to refresh the mind, but it can also lead to addiction for individuals who have weak resolve and just want to forever bask in that state to escape reality. In nature, addiction is not much of a problem as such substances are not abundant to the point animals can take em any time they wish. Since we humans have everything in such abundance, it must be regulated, and addiction should be vilified. Animals too can easily get addicted and lead to a life of ruin from tests shown just like us humans, but that's with us humans supplying them with abundant drugs. You aren't likely to find junky animals out in the wild, unlike for us humans...
