Shows the guy is a team player, hustling his light speed butt to make that tackle. Remember his insane 8.4 YPC last year when we had a decent OL to start the year? Get that back and we will be challenging the '99 Rams once again for most team yards in one season... And maybe a few other good things to go along with that!
@CastroJordan

Yeah Achane is a future hall of famer, he is something else… makes me sick how his talent is being grossly wasted and squandered right now. This team has to get some urgency, tear it down and start over. Look what happens when you make good picks. Achane was what, 4th round? Chop doing good. It’s probably all luck. Imagine proper scouting, drafting, developing. Having a roster loaded with these kind of guys on rookie contracts. Maybe even a true franchise QB1 who is a team guy and not trying to take all the salary cap. Tua waiting all that money, tells me he knows his career won’t last long. If you believe you’re great and chasing rings for the long haul. You’re more apt to take less money, less pressure, more skill players, better protection, etc… The owner and front office don’t care about football and having a real team. They care about money, which is why we suck and are just a football based sitcom or drama show.

That injury on waddle is a lot more serious that they’re leading on, my clumsy behind had that exact same injury my leg bent the exact same way over my knee and ankle and I had a high ankle sprain. I’m just now over a month later getting back to full movement And that was through pushing so with all the Hope and staff they have maybe next week but I wouldn’t push it this week because that knee needs to be protected not to mention his Achilles tendon is probably hurting as well.

And I’m not even sure if you’re right in whether we moved the ball that game. I just remember the blowout WHILE Tua was in there.

22:10 I still think Erik Ezukanma is only a bust due to his availability. I think his ability is higher than his availability has allowed him to show. But the trade was worth making. The problem is that what Grier did with all of the resources he got from that trade, should be handled with criminal charges. The later round picks I’ll look past the misses. But those early round failures, like taking Liam Eichenburg over Creed Humphrey, are enough to justify Griers firing in my eyes.

Grier was the head of scouting for a long time, should never have been given the GM job in the first place Taking Waddle over Sewell or even trading back up giving up a FRP when you could have taken Parsons/Slater/Smith was so egregious. Dolphins 🐬 dont need to win another game this season. Time to empty our bench to play our second, third and practice squad players. Player development should be the focus for now. We want higher draft position to add quality rookies at positions of need. No need to make playoffs and get bounced out early. Focusing on the long term development of our roster 🎉. Finishing 9-8 would be a total disaster. Going 6-11 with a full evaluation of all players will help us to be real Super Bowl Contenders next season.

If Dolphins lose on Sun., the franchise takes another 5-year step back and sells the farm. They need to keep the ship afloat; am so tired of the ugly 5-year rebuilds and have little confidence that it will get better if they sack Grier and McDaniel. What's the alternative? Cam Cameron, Adam Gase and the rest of the crap the Dolphins have put up over the past two decades? The current crew is, at the least, competent and capable. Also, methinks a big part of the Dolphins losing streak since Shula left is also the many Dolphins fans/critics bringing out the firing squads with ease whenever things take a downturn. Building a winning franchise also requires some patience.

Omar, quite often, you lean on the "players quit on Gase" mantra as a possible comparison to the 2024 squad. You are using the 2018 finale against Buffalo as your proof. OK. You owe to your readers to examine the possibility that most of the players you elude to in this instance quit on themselves. I'd submit that of the four players that left that game, Robert Quinn was the only one to produce respectable numbers after 2018. Torry McTyer couldn't stay off the practice squad or IR. Akeem Spence never stayed with a team more than one season after 2018, and Kiko Alonso was a backup or on IR the rest of his career. Gase was fed up, and he said the things no coach will say these days imo.

Eichenberg is literally out of his league playing in the NFL. Drop him today! As much as I like Grier for most of the players he has brought to the team since having the real reins of the team, his and McD's attention to the OL going into this season has been PATHETIC! How can a guy who has brought us Tyreek, Waddle, Tua, Chubb, Austin Jackson, Armstead, Jonnu Smith... let Jones and Eichenberg start at the guard spots???? This blatant oversight by both Grier and McD are grounds for dismissal IMO, though not in an automatic way. If Ross has learned anything about football and wishes to continue with these two, then he should call them into a private meeting at the end of the year. In this meeting of three, Ross needs to put the fear of God into these two to go get whoever is needed to create a punishing, dominating offensive line that makes defenses regret showing up on Sundays to face us!! We had this kind of line to start 2023 (minus Armstead though Lamm capably filled in there) until the wheels fell off. Just imagine if we had Buffalo's 100% starting rate with their regulars. We would have won the division easily! I've been saying for over two years now, you don't win in the NFL without a punishing offensive line! Our window for relevance (division title plus one playoff win at least) is rapidly closing. Winning breeds winning just like the rich get richer so let's get the line done. If either of Grier or McD cannot or will not prioritize the OL above ALL other team needs then 4th down them!!

It was appropriate that Barry was at the dolphins podium for this podcast because the propaganda coming out of him was straight from the dolphins front office. When you build a team to hide or protect deficiencies, that's not winning football. What you're saying is, your football operations screwed up. Ross seems to be one of the few guys who is oblivious. He may be a functioning idiot, who just happened to luck out in real estate. I also don't believe anything mcdaniel or Grier have to say about the roster, team or what they are actually doing.
