Kyle, is this audio straight out of the Lumix, or do you use an auxillary microphone closer to the trains? Do you enhance in post production? Your audio is simply incredible on all your videos.

Thank you, Paul. The microphone I use is a Rode VideoMic Pro+, which I connect and sit on top of the Lumix. All the audio in my videos is unedited.

Kyle, is this footage 4k from the Lumix?

Hi Paul, the Lumix can record 4k, but I choose to record 1080p50 to match all my previous videos. The main reasons I do that is if I record 4k50, the sensor is cropped from full-frame to APS-C, losing some detail in the shot (particularly at night). Moreover, 4k30 is available at full frame, but it would make it difficult to mix my newer footage with older footage when making compilation videos due to the different frame rates.

@@KyleLaw19 Your night footage is the best I've seen anywhere. Deep blacks and rich colors in the light. Do you leave the Lumix in full auto at night or do you adjust exposure for each location? I apologize Kyle, but debating on new camera and would kill to achieve your level of excellence here in the US.

Thank you, Paul. Hope you're well. I manually set the camera up depending on the lighting available at the location, but I think the camera would still achieve very good results on auto settings. Most of these night shots are taken in manual with the following settings: 1/100, F4.0, ISO 10000, WB Auto. Apologies it's taken a little while to respond, Paul - I've been off KZbin for a couple of months so only just got a chance to respond. Really appreciate your comments and if I can help with anything else feel free to ask.
