Hey Dom, I got my DC Finest Batman Year One & Two, I'm working through it...but not finished yet so I had to fast forward through the last few minutes for no spoilers😂, but I am loving this new DC format. I'm gonna try to get all Batman, Green Arrow, and Flash and then select Vol. 1's (Superman,etc.) and stories I want to read most (Teen Titans Judas Contract,etc). Hey! These are the same trim size as a regular standard size comic book, trade paperback, or Marvel Epic Collection. Omnibuses are taller.

Love the format and size of these editions. I just felt the reproduction/color seemed a little off to me (just bought the Batman edition so far).

@johnv3623 Same goes for the format! Love the overlaps and the way they're designed. I'll also take what I can get for $40 worth of over 30 issues of content. They aren't Taschen publications or IDW artist editions.

The order of the stories is: Year One (Batman 404-407), Year Two (Detective 575-578), new origin of Jason Todd (Batman 408-411), Legends Crossovers (Batman 401, Detective 568) and from here Batman 402-403, 412 and Detective 569-574, 579 interspersing them as you wish. It would have been better to present the stories in the correct chronological order and not following the publication order.

@FransEsquéEnglund I understand being upset that it's not in chronological order, but as someone who isn't looking to read everything complete from a head-on, "this goes first before this" mentality, I really have no issue with the way that they've mapped them via publication order. I think the point of the line is to get everything out in order, anyways; not meant to read them from the beginning of Batman history to the end of time in one go with how messy continuity gets after everything is merged onto one Earth. But I hear you!

I didn't see 570 in the solicitation. Is 569 in it? 569 I believe is when catwoman gets captured.

They changed what was collected after the initial solicitation. Everything starts immediately after Crisis with Batman 401 and Detective 568.
