We really should change that meme to the DHS. The IRS anti-tax joke is a sovereign citizen thing with an icky history. Now, the DHS has ICE and TSA in it. Way more representative of actual misused, forceful authority. Also, they were kidnapping protesters off the street in unmarked vans in Portland toward the end of the last POTUS term, so... There where few similar java games on old phones, like really exactly the same concept of spaceman landing on planet or underwater mining with base protection and addons. I dont remember names as I played them like 10-15 years ago but I remember that concept as I always looking for games like that... and sadly for iOS/Android most of mining games are crap with annoying candy graphic and massive amount of simplifications that make them one-click games that I hate as its not a game really but video with fancy popup windows

Can someone please explain what the hell "Rouge like" and "Rouge lite" mean? Every time I try to understand it, all I'm met with "It's like the game 'Rouge'" Ugh!

"Rogue like" describes a type of "hardcore" game with unforgiving mechanics, procedurally generated maps, perma death/no lives/limited resources/health items. "Rogue lite" is similar, but often has more forgiving mechanics than pure roguelikes, often more health, less emphasis on survival and in general, are more accessible to the casual gamer. rogue was a game in the 1980s, which inspired a bunch of hobbyist programmers to make games with similar mechanics. it's a bit like calling Call of duty, a Wolfenstein 3d clone, which would tell you just enough about how the game functions, without actually telling you what they share in common.

@mrpieceofwork Rouge lites also has some sort of meta progression outside the combat part that make it easier each run. An example would be achievement based item unlocks or earned currency to buy item unlocks. Rogue-likes are always the same difficulty for game one to game 200.
