Hah yes! :D It changed quite some time ago, but before you could have 3 cobalt on a tree (now it is limited to only 1). So you can imagine, it prolonged the run a lot XD

There is a bug with x-ray cave not showing all resources it should show after activating it. Reloading save file fixes this issue.

Why are all the blocks revealed for you?

I'm not sure what you mean? If you mean: Why I can see 2 blocks deep? That is how cave called X-ray works. Thanks to it you can see 1 more layer of blocks deep. If you mean: How I can find resources, so fast early on? It is pure experience. Based on resources you found, you can predict pretty well where next resources will be, especially iron clusters. If you meant something else, please give me more details and I will try to answer :)

@@zimny11 how do you predict where iron veins are? i know you can predict water cause they're alway roughly 10 blocks apart and about vertically and horizontally adjecant and how do you predict where cobalt is? i heard in sodas chat that its supposed to be on the side of the map more than the middile. Great run you're really good at this game dang. Also great run lol was one hell of a watch and an eye opener for a newb like me.

@@MrspeedrunAlt Thanks! Well that is a really old run a lot of changed since then, but you can predict where iron will be. It is the easiest resources to predict, but you can somewhat do that with all of them. You need to start thinking about iron clusters as creating triangles that have bigger and bigger sides the deeper you go. It takes a ton of practice, so be patience.

how can you convert the resources so quickly?

At the end of the video or in general? In general, the Repellent wave Delay gives you additional time for Converter and Condenser production. At full upgraded Delay you get additional 0.9 cycle (if I remember correctly), which makes a big difference. And at the end of the video, I used Shorten Cycle upgrade to not wait ages for the next wave while not having much to do. So everything works faster, but cycles are shorter proportionally.

@@Happy.Chillmore It exists only on Prestige Mode. One of the upgrades on the top of the upgrade menu. It was added because top players were keep mining whole map and then had nothing to do through +30 waves, and waiting for minutes between fights was so boring.

For Sword I can recommend to watch Slip (top2 on Endless Mode) here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKfIoJWqadlsjs0 He is awesome with Sword and in general one of the best Dome Keeper player. As far as I know, for Sword same set up of gadgets is good as for Laser. Also top9 is an amazing achievement! Congrats!

@@Happy.Chillmore On official Dome Keeper discord you can look up some of the run statistics from other people from prestige. For example, current top2 with 212050 score, took 1/10th of the damage that other people on such a long run took, which is impossible. Similar issue is in case of current top1 and top3, plus some other stuff.

It looks as if you have a cheat that is showing the grid on another screen where the cobalt is with all the pauses and beelines to them, hopefully im wrong

Nope. I'm just using Prospection Meter - in game gadget that show distance to nearest resources. It is super easy to find resources with it, once you get use to how it works. And I'm pausing because it is a stream recording, so I'm answering people in chat when I'm in pause.

В начале игры железо является самым важным ресурсом для быстрого улучшения вашего оружия и защиты. Железа довольно много, поэтому нет необходимости добывать каждые 2 блока. А затем я использую гаджет, который показывает мне расстояние до ресурса, чтобы я мог добывать его широко. (Google Translate)
